  • adult circumcision

Does anyone have any experience being circumcised as an adult. Would you care to share the experience. Or can you recommend a doctor in the GTA who specializes in this. I'm in my 40s and I am considering getting it done.
I don't mean this to be a debate about for or against because I realize this is a sensitive topic like politics and religion.

Go to a synagogue and ask a Rabbi. Many people convert to Judiasm late in their life and have to have this surgery performed. You can probably google it just as easily too, but in the previous case you have a trusted source.

I have not suffered this personally but did watch the procedure being done by an MD and I would want lots of saltpeter so I did not have an erection for a long time if I were to have it done.

He just cut the foreskin off with scissors and stitched the remaining skin to the rim of the head! Yikes! I felt sorry for the guy and he was quite elderly at the time too.

Maybe the rabbinical procedure would be less hurtful. Hope all goes well for you.

I would urge you to not get the process done unless you feel compelled to for medical reasons. I was snipped as an infant and as a result my penis has about half of the sensitivity of ones which are intact.
Circumcision does help to limit the spread of disease, but that is easily remedied by soap and water.

I am 27 now and had it done two years ago. I had what is called Phimosis, basically a lack of elasticity in the foreskin. Everything was functional, but i was unable to pull my forskin over the head of my penis like a normal un-circumsized person. kind of embarassing the first time a girl would see it, they thought something was wrong with me. so not exactly a confidence booster... but i did allright.

Right before my first deployment to iraq, i decided to check in with a doctor about it (at the suggestion of a lady friend that worked in a urologist clinic) and the doctor suggested, given that i would be in a very dusty environment (iraq) going sometimes a few days to a week without showering, it would be best to go ahead and get it done, not to mention the confidence booster of finally having a normal looking member.

The procedure went something like this. I shaved well the night before (I always shave anyway) and I sat on something similar to a dentist chair while wearing one of those hospital gowns. The doc and nurse prepped me with with big blue cloth with a hole in it exposing my junk. the doc started enjecting me with some sort of numbing agent. shots right to the junk. I wont lie, it was PAINFUL! but it got better the more shots i got. I think it was 17 shots total? then he went to town with a scalpal. The process took about an hour, including the stitching. It was a very surreal expierence, and i did ok, right untill i saw him throw the forskin into a metal bowl. Got a little queezy at that.

Recovery was very painful at first. and something i didnt expect, urination was a serious chore. I had to learn to aim all over again. If you have phimosis you will probably expierence this, but if your forskin will pull back over the head to expose the pee hole you may not expierence the same problem. But it was embarassing living in a military barracks sharing a bathroom with another guy, and when i tried to piss standing up i would make a mess... took a good 5 days or so to get the hang of it. Sometimes the first few days i would just sit there and suddenly pain would shoot through my whole crotch, causing me to groan loudly and feel a bit sick... I dont think salt peter will be necessary lol, you wont feel like getting much of an erection, it is a rough process...

BUT, the good news is, sex feels absolutly AMAZING now! Before my circumsizion i was able to last a long time in the sack, and prided myself in that, but when i first started getting back into the game after the surgery (for me it was about a month and a half before i felt comfortable trying it) i was a minute man. the sensation was completely different and i would pop my load rather quickly, however over time it got much better. Masturbation completely changed, and that was another learning curve for me. about three weeks after the surgery was the first time i came... and it took alot of trying different techniques to figure out what worked. I found wearing a condom during masturbation the first month or two actually helped alot, because it was so sensative.

One last thing, if you do get the surgery and you normally wear boxers, i would suggest boxer briefs... keep the junk under control for a while, the constant movement going on in your pants will sometimes lead to embarassing hard ons lol.... much like puberty. and i have to add in, i found some gauze soaked in petrolium jelly at a rite aid or wallgreens somewhere... that made loads of difference when i first went back to work.

As someone who's expierenced adulthood with both cut and uncut, i fully disagree with the whole "uncut is better". granted i had the whole overbearing forskin unlike most uncuts, but looking back on it it was the best decision i ever made.

Still though, I do wanna go down on a someone with an uncut member some day, just to see the difference from the apposing end

Thanks for sharing. The pain and healing factor are the things I'm concerned about. I also worry about how I will be able to jerk off to Lisa Paradise's pictures.
