Being passable is almost like trying to be something you're not. Why do we need to "pass" as females when none of us are females? We need to be beautiful transsexuals. & every transsexual is beautiful IF there is a true person behind their face. Some girls get too caught up on trying to pass - they lose them self. Some evenings when I want a nightcap,,I'm at my favorite upscale hetero-mainstream piano bar here and people-watched and notice that about 90% of the

people in there were struggling really hard to "pass" as somebody or something they

thought they should be, but that most were clocked as something else,




Actually, I have never heard the word "passable" used with any of the few women I have been with

, I do see it used online by professional women in their advertisement

I've only heard trans people talking about "passing" and how it enables them to not face violence & discrimination from a certain group and type of people.

I personally think the word passable is ridiculous, it doesn't matter how

you look or act, people need to respect and honor individual choices no

matter how "passable" you are in the minds of others

IS the whole purpose of changing to another gender is to become as

close to that gender as you possible can right? So shouldn't "passable"

apply to those who manage it well?

why do many women ( genetic & Transgender) invest massive sums of money in

some of the following treatments ,, breast augmentation ,Hair removal , ,

electrolysis , inject toxic substance like Botox into their bodies ,, plastic

surgery, ,starve their bodies of proper foods, liposuction ,some work on their

voice and yes even take hormones .?? which is another world if the right balance is

not found , all these treatments and countless more trying to better DNA

imperfections just to look " more "ATTRACTIVE" to the opposite sex and their peers

Is al this not what is really in the back of all women's minds when you think of "PASSABLE" or PASSING.


Yet in many ad's designed to Attracted men the word Passable is every where, HMM maybe you have to change the use of the word through education of all??

I'm going to end end my thoughts with a true situation that happened a coupe of months ago, at the time it was extremely painful for both of us, I was on a second date with a transgender lady whom is an assume gift to this world.

My partner happened to glance over over towards the kitchen door about 10 meters

away,(we were in an alcove,my favorite table) and there was about four men peering

through an open door directly at us and not being very discrete about it!

she blurted out "that bastard has ratted me out

Apparently one of the waiters whom she recognized,but did acknowledge, seen us getting escorted to our table
,I never noticed his stare, but he made it know to the kitchen staff about this gorgeous woman

well the mood of the dinner went dreadful,a depressed mood came over her, for this kept on happening, it was so bad for her confidence ,I could see slight tears in her eyes (it was anger ) (she just wanted the right to enjoy life and belong in this world.

There's nothing wrong with being angry, or confronting prejudice.
,but I suggested I would call the manager over to neutralize the uncomfortable situation ,she asked that I not make more of a scene.

after we picked at the food we both decided the best would be to leave,because the

mood had gone and neither one of us were very hungry after that.

This woman could walk into any room and be the centre of attention with no hint and movement other then an exception woman, very well dressed,.confedence charm


we left , I left her in the car and went back to the restaurant and talked to the owner manager and discussed what happened, he was insane with anger, he asked whom was responsible for this invasion of our privacy& embarrassment ,I could not prove it ,but suggested whom it my be, he said he would Question the staff.

the next day he called me,and told me my lady was right, this waiter had spread the gossip

but to be fair,in the analyst from my side,I hope to believe they were making such a oblivious attempt to see her was because of her natural beauty and smile
But I guess Im a dreamer
final comment ,the waiter was fired the next day, but a month later re-hired because of his cliental popularity

No this world is not fair hell I was there one night and a broker whom was charged with embezzling ,millions of dollar was having dinner, and yes the whole restaurant stared and gossiped

But it did not seem to disturb him al all

I'm not sure the person should of been fired, but showing any prejudice against someone or making fun of them should definitely be warned, and possibly suspended.

Being in the business, I have had my share of gay/lesbian customers, transgendered customers, etc, does somebody's background or sexual preference decide who you will serve & not serve or who you like and don't like, who gives a shit, the bottom line is they are "customers".

As long as you as a customer act professional, and don't draw undue attention to yourself, no one should ever have a problem socializing in the real (fucked-up) world. But there are jerks like this waiter that just have to open their mouths.

Would I discipline a staff member for doing something like the waiter did?
Absolutely, and if it continued, then fired, anyone can be replaced, waiters/waitresses are a dime a dozen, finding good ones is a little more difficult, but i will never put up with Prejudice in the work place, against staff or customers.

the world is not fair, and these girls have a tough time sometimes.
