There are different types of condoms and there are those that supposedly are better because of the way they are manufactured however there is still no guarantee you are completely safe wearing a condom.
Condoms can rip or tear.If that happens during sex its just as the same as having unprotected sex and with that the chance of getting HIV/AIDS is very high.
Also it all depends on the STI we are talking about too. Herpes, syphilis, gonorreah, bumps and genital warts can still be spread even while having a rubber on. How is getting something like this possible with a condom? Well, if the condom isn't the right fit i.e. too small or a little loose fitting there's a good chance something can be transmitted.
Point is every life is valuable but a condom is not 100% however if you are sensible and know the risks and understand how to play safe then chances are you will have a lifetime of fun.
