Tiger's troubles ...

are just beginning. He will get a relatively protected experience for this tournament because the hard-asses who run the Masters will eject hecklers and such. Nonetheless, he will still have to deal with the fact that even more of a significant number of his peers now think he is a selfish jerk-that's gonna manifest itself in some pairings for sure.

On an unrelated but so much more important topic: ain't T-girls wonderful, and wouldn't it be wonderful if there were even more of them all across the nation? (Ontarians and Quebecers have an embarrassment of riches, compared to the rest of the country) I love the girls we have here in Vancouver, I just wish there were more of them!

I got off-topic there and I just realized that I hadn't answered Lisa's question. So ... I do think, despite everything, that oddsmakers are right to make Tiger the favourite. Personally, I'm pulling for the guy. He's obviously trying to make things right with his wife and right with himself. Thanks for the topic Lisa!

A jerk

Tiger is two things - a jerk/asshole, and the world's best golfer. I knew he was a jerk from the last amateur golf tourney he won. He had just came from behind to beat the fast-fading leader, and when his winning shot went in the cup, he went into his strutting, fist-pumping "I'm the Greatest" act. The poor guy who he had just crushed was left totally humiliated - not exactly Arnie or Jack.

As assholes go, he just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

The negative image of tiger will be more or less forgotten when he gets down to what he does best (by that I mean the golf, not banging lots of different women!). It will take time, but it will happen. People will not be talking about his problems forever. What he will accomplish is going to overshadow the mistakes he has made in his personal life, mark my words.

Who cares about his affairs anyway? The gossip addicted world should move on. Tiger the golfer is a good story, tiger the adulterer is a boring and done to death story.
