New look leafs

OK guys what do ya think about our leafs after the trade deadline,to me im very impressed with the kids they have a pretty awesome first line of kessel kulemen and bozak and the second line aint to shabby either with my fav. player stalburg with graboski and hanson now depending what burke does at the draft if we vcan get another top 3 forward with our first round pick nathen kadri coming up this team could be pretty freakin good,what do ya think?

For years it was only the veterans that would get ice time, it's nice seeing young fast legs out there. Guys who want to be there and are fighting for a spot. I don't mind when they kids make mistakes cause well they are still learning, i can live with that. It was the guys before playing with such little heart out there that was tough to watch.

Bozak has been unbelievable with the added ice time and responsibility, and Kulemin is doing all the little things right. Kessel although will go four or five games with no goals has been tearing it up and I hope he gets 30 this year. They are still rebuilding but I like the way they are headed.

its a known fact that the leafs have been known to always f up draft picks so nevermind anything to do with a draft but i feel if burke can do get a decent trade in perhaps in exchange for kaberle we can get some serious offensive talent. the leafs are amongst the youngest team in the league and give them 2 years with a couple more additions to the offense and you could have a strong cup contender. our defense is the best on paper in the league, all they got to do is play like it.

im also still iffy about our goaltending situation.

but i like where its going. its a sure improvement over the last two seasons, that for sure

Honestly Leaf fans, I feel sorry for ya. Burke is simply rolling the dice and hoping for the best. I don't recall anyone ever trading their whole team away like that. I am a Habs fan but had hopes for the Leafs. They already had a young hustling team that was exciting to watch and lost many close games. They needed time to gel and be coached into a unit rather than a group of individuals. Burkes's arrogance fits in well with the Leaf brass. The best thing they could do is get sold to an individual with a desire to win and reap the profits that a Stanley Cup would bring. MLSE is a bunch of MBA pussies that jut want to keep their giant mortgage payments up and German cars in the driveway.

ya its awesome watching young talent come into there own,its been along time since we have seen this much speed and youth kinda reminds me a bit of the early 80s when wendle was around with the kid line clake courtnal and leeman with al iafrate on defence and the cat in net.its gonna be alot of fun the next few years watching them thats for sure.

Thank god Season is Over......it was painful to watch I went to the games because i Like Burkes DoG House, DION Phaneuf and another leaf player that i cant mention .....

i hit 280 consistantly so ive always played from the mens tee otherwise id never lose period.

I agree they are looking good but teams are at their best when they know they can't make the palyoffs. I'm liking Bozak, Kulemin, Graboski and Stalberg. I still think Kessel is extremely overrated. Did anyone even notice him in the Olympics? And to think we don't even get a draft choice for 2 years. WOW, what a mistake.

Here is what I hope happens.

1) Kaberle gets traded for a top forward. He looked great in the pre season but he is not even trying lately
2) Kovalchuk is back on the market as a free agent and we get him.

But what will probably happen is that they trade the entire team one more time and start all over again. LOL. I believe Schenn has the third most games played on the team and I think Kessel is fourth. I wanted them to clean house but I did not mean completely.

Your first round pick this year was in the trade to get kessel (also first round pick next year and second round pick this year). the team is better than edmonton and ...oh no just edmonton. lol. i must say you do have a good goalie now with g.s.
