Here is what I hope happens.
1) Kaberle gets traded for a top forward. He looked great in the pre season but he is not even trying lately
2) Kovalchuk is back on the market as a free agent and we get him.
But what will probably happen is that they trade the entire team one more time and start all over again. LOL. I believe Schenn has the third most games played on the team and I think Kessel is fourth. I wanted them to clean house but I did not mean completely.www.shemalecanada.com/escort/asiamissy

I don't recall anyone ever trading their whole team away like that. I am a Habs fan but had hopes for the Leafs. They already had a young hustling team that was exciting to watch and lost many close games. They needed time to gel and be coached into a unit rather than a group of individuals. Burkes's arrogance fits in well with the Leaf brass. The best thing they could do is get sold to an individual with a desire to win and reap the profits that a Stanley Cup would bring. MLSE is a bunch of MBA pussies that jut want to keep their giant mortgage payments up and German cars in the driveway.
but one spot where i totally agree with you is the MLSE. the leafs definitely NEED a single owner who actually cares about winning. and i couldn't have said it better myself, about the MLSE being a bunch of MBA pussies lol.

and rantsalot just making the playoffs isn't an accomplishment. getting to the finals is an accomplishment. getting to the final four is somewhat of an accomplishment.
when was the last time the habs (and no i will not resort to silly acronyms) done made the conference finals? when was the last time the leafs done that? quite recently ... wait when was the last time montreal has won anything other than in hockey? oh thats right because any other sports franchise wouldn't last in a boring market such as MTL or perhaps potential owners know that it'll end up going no where.
other than that, getting sweeped in the first round is just an embarrassment.
infact i'd rather not make the playoffs just to get sweeped and instead pick up a higher draft pick.

If Burke and Wilson can forge a team from some of the decent young talent they've scraped together, the Leafs could be dangerous for the 2011-2012 season
I expect 2010-2011 to be a shakedown year with a lot of ups and downs. By the end of the season, it should be pretty clear if the team has a chance in 2011-2012

So what. Toronto has professional teams in other venues. Means nothing in regards to superiority or the like between the two cities but if it makes you feel better to think along those lines then go ahead.
You know Montreal has The Montreal Alouettes. Since their return to the CFL in 1996, the Alouettes have appeared in the Grey Cup seven times, all of which being between 2000 and 2009 with two Grey Cup wins.
They most recently won the 2009 Grey Cup which is already considered by many as a 'comeback classic'. The Alouettes have been to the Grey Cup more often than any other CFL team this decade and are considered by sports experts to be the most successful CFL team since 2000 in terms of regular-season statistics and Grey Cup appearances.
Montreal is also the site of the NAPA Auto Parts 200, a NASCAR Nationwide Series racing event. Cars go around the street....go vrooom......LOL
Mary Pierce a famous tennis player from Montreal won the French Open in 2000 and in 2005 won the mixed doubles title in Wimbledon.
Ah well....this ribbing each other is fun and all but best to stop here.
Respectively each city has got their good and bad in regards to hockey.
Cheers .

and i know of the success of the alouettes, they are a strong team. i was actually going to mention that but i decided not to because no one really cares (everyone around me at least) about the cfl in toronto when we have more popular leagues to follow like the NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS etc etc.
all in all, you said it best, "Respectively each city has got their good and bad in regards to hockey."
