I don't worry about std's from oral sex - I have done a lot of research - there is no evidence at all for hiv/aids being transmitted via oral sex and very little chance of anything else via that route - and I get checked regularly! Any other form of sex (entry) unprotected would be asking for trouble and I wouldn't risk it with a professional provider and probably not with many non-professionals. I am glad we agree that the incidence of std's through oral sex is very low, however, I would be very interested to see (be alerted to) any evidence of hiv/aids being transmitted orally - I suppose if you give a blow job to someone and they are infected with the virus and you have bleeding gums or some other open sore or wound, you are at extreme risk, but do you know of any other circumstances in which there is hard evidence (not hearsay) that it has been transmitted orally? I am well connected with an aids hospice and the information I have recieved from reliable sources within is that it is unheard of.
