Thank you Ray for your concern about my well-being. I appreciate that and I can tell you that everything is going very well indeed.

There's an old English saying, used by many including Shakespeare about 1600 - "Discretion is the better part of valour". The saying has many interpretations among which are e.g.

the ability to deal with situations in a way that does not offend, upset, or embarrass people or alternately that strength is not in fighting simply to fight (or prove your strength through force), but it is to choose when to fight based on your beliefs. Choose your battles wisely.

Being discrete is a strength. Discretion can mean mean behaving in a humble manner and knowing when not to continue pursuing a hopeless battle.

So, I decided, in light of the above that it was best for me to depart the forum. I forced myself to use a lot of self-restraint, to resist an unwise impulse to continue the battle but I notice that it still seems to be smoldering here even after all these months.

Pity the poor soul that continues to crow like a rooster!
