So it appears France is the first country in the world to actually remove Transsexuality (gender-dysmorphia) from their mental disorder list.
It's kind of funny that Canada still has it kept in there. I mean it was only back in 1973 that homosexuality was removed (sorta as it was replaced with ego-diagnostic homosexuality, whatever that means) and then completely removed in 1986. so i mean it wasn't that long ago that something that is now seen as socially acceptable was clinically approved as "normal" behaviour.
So this makes me wonder what kind of impacts this could have on trans-identified lives? individually and as a whole...
could we lose jobs? be denied them? thrown in the looney bin for having a mood swing?
ive lost a job because of me being a transsexual.
so i'm curious to see if any other girls have experienced things like this?
