Happy days are here again!

It’s been a while since Toban’s been active here. Lately, I am quite encouraged to see that the Forum seems to have once again become the receptive and cheerful place it once was. It seems more likely now than it has for a very long time, that some sensible discussions can take place without the harassment of late.

It looks as if all members, both new and old alike, will be able to speak freely without fear of being attacked or harassed. The Forum of the past was always a very welcoming, helpful and friendly place to visit. May it ever remain so!

When I first discovered the Forum I received so much help from the then members. In return I had always tried to repay that help by offering assistance to others when I was able to do so.

I hope that, without harassment and in a much more friendly environment, I will be able to do that once more.

If the harrassment were to stop, I would like to come back. I hope you are correct Toban and that it can finally be over. You and Ray have both been positive forces on the forum. There have been many others that merit that badge as well.

The forum has been an environment where the transgender community and admirers can share ideas, free of prejudice and attacks. From the beginning, both SPs and non-SPs have been welcome. The way I see it is that there is enough prejudice and harrassment in the transgender community and it is very nice to have a safe haven where we can all be human beings and discover what it means to be welcome.

I have enjoyed participating in the intelligent discussions that are initiated in the forum. I would welcome the opportunity to do so again. Being an SP, I enjoy having access to the forum for promotional purposes but beyond that, I earnestly enjoy participating in discussions.

The forum has lost alot because of the actions of a very small number of detractors. These very few did not wish to contribute anything or could not. They were content to insult and sabotage. Unfortunately, these few are influential on the forum. The forum has been very close to losing its readership completely. There is always hope that we can rebuild it and I am willing to work toward that.

My decision to leave is reversible. The only condition is that the offending members are not permitted to begin again to destroy the forum. I am a very open person and I have a heart. I have alot of love for all of you on the forum and I consider you my friends.

Thank you Sunshine. Your tentative return would certainly be advantageous for this group.

Of course who can know for certain that the current peaceful status of the Forum will continue - that is ultimately under the control of others! My presence at this time is based on my sincere trust that the Forum will continue to operate harmoniously again, just as it once did in the past.

Only time will tell, but should the current status again revert to disharmony then I too, like you, would see no point in remaining.

Sunshine, Thank you for the kind words. When answering a PM earlier today I just happened to notice that I have been a member of this forum for just over 5 years. Time really flies when you are having fun. I would like to thank the members of the forum for all their reviews, comments, suggestions and whatever. My attraction to TGirls has only gotten stronger because of this forum. Of course whether that is a good thing or not remains to be seen, LOL.

Glad to have you back Toban, though I didn't know you had left for a reason, I just thought you'd lost interest. It strikes me that forums are most different to real life in one glaring aspect, and that is that one can't stand up to a bully and thereby disarm them. That is why there has to be a moderator, I guess.
As for Lisa, I think she is more to be pitied than censured. She has to live with herself after all. The bile seems to be constantly bubbling up which must make for a demoralizing existence.
Thankfully I have enough going on in my life that I can look on this and other forums as nothing more than a harmless albeit titillating hobby.
If my livelihood was threatened I might be more concerned, but being called a fag by a former used car salesman just makes me chuckle.

I believe those who join the forum and strongly participate are unable to truly "leave" the forum. The numbers of those who truly left are nominal, if any. Welcome back Toban, but I believe you were already here. At least in spirit or maybe under a different monikar. Welcome back Sunshine, but understand that peace will never exist as long as there is two sides to every story. I'm here to stay despite some of my weak attempts. Life is short, just enjoy the ride!
