AHA! Never trust a guy who hates or fears cats. Cats are very independent and when they need love and attention, they will let you know. Because of this, very dominating males with control issues always dislikes cats. You don't own a cat, a cat owns you. A little off topic, but got any pics of your cats Christina? I love cats even though I am allergic to them. I used to have one years ago, even with my allergy symptoms. I just couldn't give up my cute little furball.

AWWWWEE! How cute! That hairless one must have been expensive. Do you have to keep that one in a warm climate? So forget guard dogs, just get some guard cats to keep this guy away.

Ya she was expensive but worth it. Sometimes in the winter Ill put a sweater on her otherwise she just sleeps under the blankets with me. Shes really warm. Feels like a heating pad.

Why wouldn't you? Its a whole different experience. There more like babies needing to be bathed, ears cleaning and keep warm. Shouldn't knock anything out of the norm. Different is interesting remember?

Here is why I believe that a hairless cat could be a good pet!

Here's why hairless might be the way to go:

Inside all that very long, very fine hair is my skinny little 12 yr. old Ragdoll cat. He has a mane like a lion with hair about 5" long and more very long hair elsewhere, with a great, lovable personality. He follows me around the apt. like a dog, even to the toilet, and loves to play fetch like dog, demands to drink from the tub when I soak.

Unfortunately all that hair requires a lot of grooming by both me and by himself. Whenever he moves he leaves hair wafting in the air or in clumps on the carpet! I may get several handsfull of hair while grooming him and his own grooming results in him vomiting up wet, warm and soft hairballs (usually in the middle of the night, and all the while accompanied with with loud wretching noises). Stepping in one of these after going out to see where he has made his latest deposit, still half asleep and barefoot, brings one to sudden wakefulness saying "Oh shit! Damn you you *?@??#! cat!" but forunately, it just feels like a fresh turd might - soft, warm and squishy.

This hair cleanup also requires many changes of vacuum cleaner bags and clearing, with scissors, of the hair tightly wound round the beater-bar which stops it from picking up more hair.

So, Horizon1, would you prefer haired or hairless?

but he was nowhere near as cute as yours Taty! And besides he was kinda all wrinkled up like the hairless.

Hmmm, how to get that smooth shiny look?
