How do i post a pic in profile?

Other than the avators..how do i post one of my own pictures?.....I don't have a personal website as the options seem to indicate you need.
Please slowly walk me through the procedure..cheers

Crop your photo to no more than 150 X 150 using any photo editing software.
upload your image to any sites that hosts pics, shutterfly, imageshack, etc.
after you posted your pic, go to your personal profile and copy and paste the link into your url.
if that fails, send your edited pic to Admin, he will help you out.

I resized my pic and used shutterfly....but does not seem to be showing..still need help

Use photobucket.com not shutter fly it seems to work better.
