  • First Timer Makup Tips?

    soooo......

I get to go home, for a week. and my Fiance wont be there, i hardly know anyone at home anymore... my father will be out of town for the whole time i will be there, and my Mother will be getting in a day and a half before i have to leave to go back to work.

I want to go all out. So far i have expieremented with Wigs, and have a few outfits i want to try, but what i dont know are two things. How to blend the wig into my hairline, or if people even do that, and also, how to get rid of any makeup i may put on.

particularly worried about the eye liner and mascara. will regular run of the mill makup remover get rid of it completely so there's NO CHANCE of someone knowing the next day that i had makeup on the night before?

I havent played with makeup since i was a young teenager, so i have my concerns, but if im going to be able to do it on my terms, this coming week is it.

If im happy with the results, im going on Craigslist and getting myself some fun lol, but i wanted ya'lls input on the makup removal and what some of you might do?

Regular make up removers should work. But if you are really worried then stay away from water proof make up. Try to go easy on the black , if you can use brown instead. Brown eyeliner , Brown mascara.
As for wigs , you essentially get what you pay for. You can buy Half wigs which are made for you to blend your hair into. You can buy lace front wigs which make it appear as if the hair is grown from your own head. Comes with a hair line and everything. Ummm... Or you can buy regular full cap wigs.

It really depends on the look you are trying to go for..

Oh yea and baby oil removes make up as well lol

Yokomi is absolutely right, unless you're planning to have a swimsuit pictorial along the beach or having to dance under the rain stay away from any waterproof make-up, coz, it surely will leave traces the day after. If you really need to add volume to your lashes use a self adhesive false eyelashes (just make sure your lids is free from any oily base). The false lashes where you have to use a glue also leaves some residue, just curl your natural lashes to blend with the artificial one.

Ponds cold cream, then wash with gentle facial cleanser to remove make-up works for me everytime.

P.S. do send us some pics after, If you don't mind
