New thread idea: Articles for buy,sell and/or trade

It's just an idea

Well everyone depending on the feedback who knows where this may lead. Some ideas I have may never come to be while others have been implemented.

There are other sites similar to tgirlforums.com and pretty much have the same sections here but of each site I have visited there was one particular element that was common amongst them all as also with it a large activity and use rate.

Articles: Buy , sell or trade.

Pretty self explanatory. Just like kijiji or craigslist why not have a section where forum members could post up ads for stuff they want or wish to part with. It appears we are a close group of people with constant communication among those in and between Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and the USA and undoubtedly people have met others from other regions whether they are tgirls or not. Add to it that you would think that there is some familiarity with who is who that it would be more "trusting" to get goods here as opposed to someone you wouldn't know in say Muinch, Yellowknife, Beijing and/or Nevada.


Think about it. I am almost certain that there are a large amount of individuals here that have something that they could give unto some else i.e. shoes, cell phone, GPS system, dresses and so on and so on. Having a thread like this would seem to make it easier to make a transaction. Some key points:

• in large markets accessibility to buy sell or trade would be far easier given that the ad would appeal to people just on this site alone
• constant travel among members here could potentially help in shipping/ delivering items
• free cost to post an ad

There are so many scenarios I could post towards these points but for the sake of not getting too overwhelmed I will not however I am sure everyone who reads this could think of the possibilities.Now this would NOT and I do mean NOT be a section to say for example " Meet me here if you wanna pick up you parcel and then.....you know". It would be just as I stated - the selling buying and trading of articles.


In regards to the legalities of this it would seem as if it wouldn't be too much of a burden if at all as I did mention before that many other sites have this type of thing. Also, as to how transactions would happen via online payment or face to face is something I haven't thought of but given what I've mentioned there is no doubt people here could make a comment to a solution should this idea pan out.

Good to hear the positive feedback on this but again my one concern is should this become a new section and people start posting up things how would payment/exchanges take place ? Would it be set up like a craigslist where youd meet face to face or rather only have people make payment online.

Again its not only restricted for buy and sell. if you wanted to give away free stuff thatd be cool too. I'm all for this.

I like the idea Rants. Of course there are issues with payment, so it would have to be taken as a given that we are all honest and unfettered by greed.
Maybe we should start with a swap system. That has worked in other forums. There is the great story of the guy in Saskatchewan who started with a red paperclip and ended up with a house all through online swapping.
It's an interesting concept.
So far I've happily swapped sex for money, but I do have an old futon....

As a frequent buyer/seller on Ebay I use PayPal exclusively for payments or purchases and I can say that it works flawlessly. After purchase the seller is prompted to send an invoice to the seller, after which payment is sent via PayPal. On receipt of the payment the goods can be sent without worry of either party being taken by a con artist.

Just a couple of days ago I sold a laptop on EBay and know that I have the payment confirmed and waiting for me as soon as the laptop delivery is verified by the buyer.

I would be willing to consider this service if it goes through. Is there a market for gently used condoms I wonder??

Is there protection thru paypal on private sales not thru ebay?
I know there is some restrictions on adult related stuff with paypal.

You know, that is something that I did not consider. I know PayPal is quite acceptable by many merchants other than EBay but in such cases perhaps the safety is not warranted. Now that requires some investigation!

In any case, PayPal is a very convenient way to transfer money.

E bay provides a form to fill out when selling goods on their site. Usually the forms require mandatory information to be provided:

• what the article is , the condition and a description of it
• asking price
• shipping and handling price
• where the seller will ship and will not ship the item
• methods of payment

separate to that providing a picture of whats up for sale is optional but highly recommended.

Perhaps to help those who are a little scared about considering online buying/trading they may be more at ease if say some type of form was given to help put up posts. Also with this I would ask that the use of the form be optional because some items would not need the use of it

example: "Looking for a good home for new born kitten"

of course there may be "seasoned" sellers here who already know how to create their own ads and wouldn't need to use it.


I'm rather surprised that the t girls aren't all over this. I mean from what I read here and of what I know it would be a win win situation for them and of course everyone else. Again, the scenarios that could be listed would go on forever but I also look at the grander scheme. Say for example a girl ( or guy ) here is trying to start a business selling their own brand of self made jewelry or hair design per se. Instead of fighting with millions on e bay or even craigslist they could start off here, have a trial run and then see if it could grow.

I'm only planning to sell or exchange slightly used music cd's and movies (some are actually in it's original wrapping).
I used to be a member of the Columbia House that abled me to accumulate some Music cd's and dvd movies which actually isn't my taste hehehe, so I guess it's better to swap or sell. Cash converter store are buying it so cheap, so I decided no to. And oh! some dvd movies I loved are now duplicated coz, I bought the Blue Ray copies of my favorite films.


But how come after your post Mr Toban, I already feel dirty with this impending transactions regarding my used stuff?
