I had hired a young lady to come see me at my office, probably my first mistake, I gave her the money she requested. I know I gave her the right amount, she did not count it. About 7 hours later, she texted me to say that I had ripped her off by an amount. Now she is threatening to come to my work and make a scene and call the cops and tell them how I have escorts up to my office.. What can I do? Would the cops do anything, should I just pay her what she wants? Please help!!

Pay the money and chalk it up to experience.
It sucks, but what is the alternative?
You obviously don't need me to tell you to never put yourself in that position again.
If this is a proveable scam you really should tell us all who the charming lady is. Most of us on the forum are potential victims. That's why I never receive callers in my home or office.

If you are your own boss I say go to the police. That lady cop who specializes in prostitution might be a good place to start. You have not done anything illegal [stupidity is not a crime] so why give in to blackmail? A call from the police will keep her off your back.
If you are an employee it is probably cheaper in the long run to pay the skank
but let her know that you will out her on this forum,Craigslist etc. if she ever tries to contact you again.
Then out her anyway to save some other poor schmuck from a similar fate.

I like some of the thinking here - if you do decide to pay up, let her know you are posting as much info on her as you have ... name(s), numbers, photos, websites, etc.
If you are willing to roll the dice, you tell her that you are posting all of the above and calling the cops for her attempting to extort you. Let's all take a page from the David Letterman book shall we?I'm not anti-semantic - words are some of my best friends!

If you have text messages of her saying what her actions will be if you do not do what she wants, save them. Try and get more so you have enough evidence when you DO go to the police. You understand that is your only option at this point.
Even if you pay her what she "says" you owe her. It is not a sure thing that 6 months down the road when she needs to pay some bills or whatever else, that she will not do the samething to you. Clearly, she is of the lower class working girl and once you give in she will see you as a mark. You will become a victim and that is never a safe place to be with girls like that.
There are always 2 sometimes 3 sides to a story. But trying to get it by force is never the answer. People make mistakes and this could have been one of those times and dealt with in a more lady like way. in situations of outcalls you should always count the money to protect both sides. I also think you need to out this person to protect others from this type of bullying.Peace, Love & Sex is how I am spending my days

Although she says I shorted her $60, and I know for a fact I counted and gave her the exact amount. She now wants 3G or will come down to my work and make a scene. I have given a picture of her to security and told them she may show up here. I have also contacted an office whom I know through a mutual friend and he said to stop all contact with her and if she resumes to call back and he will get paper work going. I'm a bit afraid to out her right now as it could come back to haunt me. I would like to protect other people of course, but I think I need this to just settle down first. I am not going to pay her the money, noway no how!!! Like one poster said, If I open up, who knows how many times she will come back for more. At least she does not live here in my city, and does not know my name, only my phone number. I will post more if anything does happen, or if anything else comes out of it. Thanks all for your help.

IT is called extortion and it is a criminal offence. Call the coppers and let them take from here. Morality squad or MCU is who you want to be speaking with. This chick is shaking you down and will never go away if you pay her even once.
Next time don't be bringing your personal life into your public life, especially if your doing things like banging whores at work, cause this is what potentially can happen. Let this be a lesson for everyone. And yes, she needs to be posted on this board at minimum to protect those who are helping you now and vulnerable as well.
I never do an outcall for these reasons. Incall or forget it! Even then when I walk into an incall the only thing I have on me is the exact amount of money I need, everything else is left in the car parked two blocks away from the incall address.
When I am finished the incall I never return directly to my car, I go for a coffee or do some shopping etc..... some whores have pimps or boyfriends that are out there watching for you and getting the who is who and writing plate numbers down etc for later follow up or shake downs..... or they are breaking into your car while your in there banging away your hard earned money. Very common, very

Thanks for the info on the car parking, I always believe that people will be honest and not do things like this, boy am I jaded. I will definately be more cautious in the future, incalls only from now on!! Sometimes the little head gets the better of the big one! I have definately learned my lesson from this, and thankyou to everyone for their tips, I will definately be more cautious.

2) Tell her you will have her charged with extortion. Let's say, for sake of argument, she was shortchanged at the time. She left with your money. If she failed to count it properly, that is not your fault. Can you imagine going to a store, paying the sticker price on something, you taking your goods home, and then they call you a few hours later saying "oh, you owe us more money, we goofed". Legally they must eat the loss. And in this case, legally she must eat the loss.
3) Threaten to have her charged with tresspassing if she comes to your workplace.
