I paid 3999 baht for a king room which I booked on their website.
I have status in the Holiday inn priority club so even though the price is a little high for Thailand I get the points and other perks. So it was a good deal in my mind, as I only booked days before.
This hotel shares the property with the Intercontinental Hotel under the same ownership, so you get all the amenities of both.
They upgraded me to the junior suite on the top floor so I do not have pictures of a king room. However I did stay in a king room on my return trip to Bangkok and found it decent but the standard rooms only have showers and not bath tubs. The rooms all have rainshower heads in the bathroom so it is really awesome.
This hotel is very close to everything and seems to be ladyboy friendly as I arrive with a ladyboy and had not a glance. She checked in with me however.
You do not have to go near the front desk really to get in and out but they do have a very attentive bell/door staff. My ladyboy brought another ladyboy back when I wasn't there and had no issues or charge.
Have heard before that this hotel is guest friendly.
The service in this hotel was fantastic the guys at the front are right on top of everything.
It is a very big and beautiful hotel complex and is close to everything.
It is located right on Sukhumvit about 10 blocks up from Nana station at Ploenchit rd.
Not to be confused with the holiday inn on Silom Road.
The only problem we had is the room service menus were not written in thai.
They only had the english proununciations of Thai which did my ladyboy no good.
Highly recommend the Junior Suite.
