I'd like to respond to a few of the obviously uneducated or severly biast comments here.
I for one abouloutly love and have been to every she-male night at Remingtons since it opened and I will say first that last week was PURELY the exception as far as the quantity of girls, and the club most certainly made amends to me . The staff and service are always amazing. As far as the way the girls are treated -the DJ anounces them always as celebrities and makes everyone clap after every song so the dancers feel the appreation when they are on stage. I have talked to (and had privates with) every lovely one of them and they truely obviously totally enjoy being there in a classy place downtown and not in some scary isolated middle of nowhere (ugg) suburban location next to cheap motels
where they don't even have shows...

Me and quite a few of the others I see @ Remingtons every week are greatful and will remain faithful that for one single night a week such a great place exists downtown.

I just thought I would take a little walk down memory lane. I remember being attacked on this thread (you know who you are, but I still have not been given any apologies, for being right). The attacks became so bad, that I removed all of my posts on this thread.
You guys finally got your "T-Girl Club Downtown" wish, that being Goodhandy's.
We started off with T-Girls on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. This is now down to Thursdays (because of lack of support). Saturday nights still have the T-Girl party on the second floor (on regular Saturday nights, when we do not have promoters holding something). I am only hoping that this continues to be the case, but of course people have to support that night, to keep it T-Girl and admirer strong.
I think it is good, and I have said this before, that you have choices on Saturday Nights, because it has been proven that T-Girls and admirers will never keep any Saturday night club going with just T-Girls and admirers. I am happy that Thursday has become the night you all claimed, and we will do our best to keep our Saturday night parties on the second floor.
We are also hoping that you all come by to the unveiling of our new "T-Girl Burlesque" night, Monday August 13, at Goodhandy's. It will be similar to The Lounge, with stage shows and Diamond Room accessibility.
But we will not have the "lawn furniture", it will not be "dark and dingy" and it certainly will not be "unfriendly". Oh, and I should add, the "Toronto T-Girl Mafia" will not be attending (whoever the fuck they are).
For the future, try supporting venues that are supportive and respectful to our community. And for those too stupid to know the difference, good luck to you when your money runs out, and they close their doors to you.
And shut the fuck up all you people who keep slamming Toronto. We have some great T-Girls and admirers in this city. And they are not all on this message board attacking people. Do not judge our city based a few T-Girls looking for underserved attention, or a handful of nasty and bitter Trannie chasers (who are just a high heel and lip gloss step away from become big bitter Trannies themselves, cause real men don't behave that way) who sit home all day playing with the palm sisters.
This is just my opinion of course, and as always, this post was not directed at anyone living or dying a slow death.
