I have to agree on this topic and disagree as well.

The problem is that some girls will go as low as $60. How can any escort compete with that or want to for that matter. Rates
When a girl decides to adopt a lower rate as competitive strategy, she is probably thinking of the system as a static. That is to say that she considers that her new rate will not affect the rates that other girls charge. But in fact this is not true.

When the girl first drops her rate, she will benefit from an increase in traffic as clients rush to take advantage. This is as DomR suggests, a higher level of traffic and more money coming in. But these clients come from somewhere. In switching over to this girl with the lower rate, they cease seeing the girl who asks for more. Eventually, the girl with the higher charge, experiencing less traffic and realizing that the other girl has dropped her rate, will decide that she must also drop her rate. Once again, the clients will rush in to take advantage. Now both girls will experience the same traffic as they did before dropping their rates but at the lower rate.

Neither of the two girls will have an easy time in raising their rates back up because they would lose traffic again to other girls who, by then, have also dropped their rates. The only solution for the first girl is to drop the rates even further. Eventually, nobody is surprised to hear of rates such as I mentionned:50, 60, 80, 100.
