I'm inclined to favour the position taken by the author. Her intent was to enlighten not denigrate Nikki. The observations made were a legitimate and inoffensive viewpoint. We often don't invest enough time to read commentary thoroughly. Thus we often miss valid points made by a writer, or, to the contrary, move to post a complete error in reply.
I further agree with Ms. Moore, Nikki does justice to the layout (my words).

hey when you publish yourself you open yourself up to criticism everyone should know that
as stated in my post (seems like some people like to pick and choose what they read) this was purely a constructive comment that had nothing to do with Nikki but with the quality of the photo. i even said she looked good just that the editing of the photos I found very distracting and I'm unable to see the photos very clearly.
this as stated by many people is just my opinion

Nikki I think your pictures look wonderful...IN MY opinion the lighting is GREAT!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed my pics! Guess there are a couple of things to address:

1) Lighting. My photographer suggested we try a different lighting setup for this shoot, making things brighter and, in his words, "dreamy." I've noticed that the brightness seems to vary from one computer to the next, and the pics even look different depending on what browser you use. So it could be that the individual differences between the machines makes the pics looks more or less bright than it appears to someone else.

At any rate, it seems to be worse on the pics where I'm wearing the white outfit; in the ones where I'm wearing black, the colour contrasts are actually quite nice (on my screen anyways, not sure how it looks for others). If the only problem with my pics is that they're a little too light, then I'd consider the photoshoot a very successful one.

2) Tattoo. Sorry if you don't like it, but both of my tattoos are deeply meaningful to me, and the one on my arm says "Enlightenment," "Significance," and "Resolve." These three words/concepts guide my philosophy towards life, and in my opinion, body art is one of the purest forms of self-expression, which is very important to me.

Some people have suggested I remove the tattoos using photoshop, but they're a part of who I am, and I'd be compromising my values if I had them taken out. Don't like my tattoo? Don't book me. Problem solved.

3) Criticism. I have no idea what was said (Craig has apparently sanitized this thread since I started it) and I don't really care. What I don't like is how every thread turns into an argument, and I think it's pretty obvious who the main culprits are. But until Craig grows the stones to ban those two hateful bitches for good, they'll just keep doing the same thing, over and over. I guess some things never change.
