For me some sex is important in a relationship, but it's definitely not the be all end all. Communication is important for any relationship, but especially for a sexual one. If my partner has no clue how to please me and vice versa then there will eventually be a stalemate and no one is fulfilled.

Besides good sex can be taught. You don't always have to have "it". "It" comes with knowledge of your partner (or the type of partner) you have sex with.
