WHAT? 18 to 20 year old adults cannot buy or view porn in Canada until 21?

Unlike US States, criminal code is solely in the hands of the Federal government in Canada. So it's not a crime to star in a porn movie at 18 but not be allowed to watch it. It happens in other types of movie too, where the young Star would be 12 in a movie that requires 13 years old to be viewed.

Provinces decides on what is the required age to view a movie, or what constitutes an indecency. Aside the obviously illegal, a movie could be forbidden for sale/import in Ontario and allowed in Quebec. Or be allowed if censored.

As far as forbidding a 18 year old to view her movie before she turns 21, it would only apply to a store selling/renting porn movies. She couldn't be charged with any crime for watching an adult movie, nor could anyone else be charged for letting her see a porn movie.

Its about time provinces and government BUD OUT on censoring or cutting movies and porn, and not allowing legal adults to buy porn. The question is WHY do they think 18 year olds are too young to masturbate to porno when in fact they certainly got the extreme physical need? If the answer is they are not fully mature in the minds as older adults thus such explicit materials may shock or harm them mentally-IS A LOAD OF B.S. Even if some are immature at that age, immature adults should have even more of a right to become sexually aroused when viewing porno compared to older adults because their sexual needs are far greater. In fact 18 to 20 year old adults are being discriminated agianst based on their ages and they all should get together and sue their provinces and government.

The gov is saying to them, "Yup, you are mature enough to appear in XXX porn and suck cocks, get fucked in the ass or get gang banged by 10 men, but sorry you are not mature enough to watch it". AND I SAY, WHAT A LOAD OF B.S.
