    Happy Diwali to you, bro.

I noticed you were in Tijuana, you have bigger balls than me, Because I would never go there.

Although, some say it's really improved over the last couple of years.

Spurred on by Ray's post and my own curiousity and by a brief reference to Diwali on TV last might I decided to find out for myself. The TV reference made it seem like a happy and festive family time but as I discovered it is much more than that. Happy Diwali to all!

Anyone who is curious can read what I felt was an excellent description of the significance of Diwali here:- http://www.sspgm.net/diwali.html

Sorry 'bout those damn extra digits. This is the link:- http://www.sspgm.net/diwali.html

greep - you are only partly right, there's more too it. I likened it to Christmas because of all the feasting and food I saw on TV but it is actually more a religious festival and the beginning of a new year.
