Spark - E zine T women
Song of the week: Oasis - Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is Even though Oasis has disbanded they did leave behind quite the library. This song being one of their last great commercial efforts. Also, for television buffs this song is synonymous with Canada's very popular television show Dragon's Den.
For me it's a double whammy. I love the guitar and message and also I like the imagery used from the tv show they put in relation to the song.
Movie: 1408 When someone says there's been many deaths in "that" room I'd be weary. Cusack is believable enough in trying to maintain his sanity and even though there are cues that can prepare viewers for the scary bits its still interesting enough to show a man lose all sense of reality.
Sunshine thank you very much again for your kind words. I can not thank you enough for your support but again I must stress that all the credit should go to you and the other ladies for if it weren't for all of you this would not exist. As for your new photo set I and many others I'm sure eagerly await your new portfolio for you always bring great charm and beauty in your pictures.
On another note anyone out there get blasted with that snow storm? For those of you not on the east coast Canada and the US had this huge amount of snow fall along Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes and in the US it hit New York, Pennsylvania, Maine and other states near the North East. I hate winter. I truly do. Ok....let the snow fall and moisturize the soil for farmers for the Spring I get that but when you have cities who are incompetent with keeping the highways and inner city roads clean let alone add the vehicular accidents, city maintenance, higher use of energy, severe col temperatures and all that it really really irks me. Ok as a kid yeah I played in the snow or ice skated and later came home soaking with sweat but as the years rolled by I grew less and less fond of doing those activities let alone the conditions outdoors. Some say I'm in the wrong country and some agree with me but if I had to choose my favorite part of the year it would be late summer, like August/September. The humidity is low but the daytime outdoors is still warm enough. That's the last I'll be talking about winter.
A few weeks ago i said I was going to get in touch with some forum members about an ideas I was proposing. I've just about got my stuff written down so soon I'll be sending some PMs out and get things rolling.
On a very serious note I have been following the situation in Egypt. That is not a crisis. I'm sorry but when masses of people are rebelling like that, even against those from other countries who want to get information or even assist that in my books in a revolution. Egyptians have taken to the streets demanding a change in their autocratic, unresponsive and increasingly corrupt government. The Egyptian government in turn responded with batons and tear gas. They shut down Twitter. Then cell phones. Then the Internet altogether. President Mubarak has built a regime on violence, arbitrary detention of activists, and repression. I have watched news from many North American stations.and I can not understand how people take things here for granted.
To end though with something happy
On February 5th in 1973 Toronto started the construction on the CN Tower, a communications transmission mast and observation post; to be the world's tallest freestanding structure. It's 38 years old now , still gets many tourists and will forever give a breath taking and unique view of the city.
Thats all I got
Cheers!

During the 90's I was really into foreign and indie films. Hollywood makes so many crappy movies.
