So in essence what you are saying is that we should lay off drugs such as synthroid (which synthesizes hormones the thyroid gland is supposed to give normally to the body) and let people die because drugs make them lazy??

And what about cardiacs? Diabetics? Psychotics? Arthritis sufferers? People who have had a transplant?They're all lazy right? 'course they are!

And yes, i am saying that most people can do without any the drugs for the conditions that you mentioned except after a surgery, IF and only IF they eat a very regimented diet, and stop all the garbage eating, and coffee drinking, and junk food, all processed food-like substances, smoking, soft drinks, all animal products, etc. Yes yes AND yes!!!
But no one wants to live like that, because we are so used to doing what we want - and that leads us to being sick and relying on the drugs to help us get through the day. But they cure nothing if the body is weak!
People want the easy way out of all that thinking, they just want to continue down the road of self-destruction.

Do drugs CURE any of those conditions? No!! Drugs don't cure! Our immune system cures. Drugs only stop the pain and discomfort or swelling and always causes other problems.

Human immune system cures cancer? And I do believe Antibiotics are used to cure ummmm.... let's say tuberculosis? I think the key point is that there are some homeopathic treatments which can, if not actually cure some diseases, alleviate some of the attendant suffering. I don't think, however, that the fact that life expectancy (especially infant mortality) which has steadily increased since the advent of scientific medicines is a coincidence. Polio was a scourge which no amount of hen bane or colonic irrigations could touch. It was not caused by diet or habits. Cancerous remains have been found in prehistoric bones.
Drugs on their own are obviously not the answer to a healthy body, but dismissing them completely is as short sighted as trusting in some god to cure our ills.
Eat well, exercise, and take penicillin if you get "the pox". (That used to kill thousands as well).
