My Annoying iphone!

I'm totally cool with the learning curve and going through the pains of getting used to a new device, but for the love of God APPLE why do you frustrate your loyal customers?
I've been showing off my iphone with all it's cool apps until today I got the ever charming "Restore" message while syncing to my computer.
Then after that you better have saved the encrypted password to your backups, and then....are you with me so far or you passed and gone to Barbies thread? whew...
And then when you want to reload your apps you have to authorize your computer to the itunes store. Finally...God I'm running out of ink here...

The bloody store says there has been an error and we can not process your request. way to go APPLE.

Thats why I changed over to Blackberry.

Jailbreaking it is an option though, I've never had a problem restoring it after, although it lags sometimes, depending on the iphone you got.

Iphones are great but Apple's stategies take a chapter out of Microsofts book. Apple is trying to control everything and not sharing anything with others. This goes against the Open Source attitude of the internet and other similar ideas.

Soon Apple will have you paying for things and websites you can now go to for free. Soon they will have a private apple internet that will cost you and arm and a leg.

I just bought a brand new blackberry with their newest OS. Sure it cost 3/4 of what and Iphone does but I am ok with it.

Blackberry is a Canadian company and their devices work just great.
Dont' let Apple make you feel inferior because you still have your freedom with a Blackberry.

If you want the Mobile Phone world to go the way that Personal Computers went then go with iphone. Soon all cell phones will have an apple OS and your choice will be negligible.

I love all things Apple, have for years. Just because they have finally surpassed Windows is no need to shit on them, Microsoft has dominated long enough and as their empire crumbles my precious Apple will rise as it's most fitting successor!!!!!!

Yeah, it's great that Apple is finally getting the recognition they deserve. Microsoft has made their billions by simply copying everything Apple did from day one. But they always seemed to be 2 to 3 years behind Apple in technology, selling badly designed 3rd rate products.

Google has their Android OS and Microsoft has windows 7 phones.
The whole thing is wide open and Blackberry is small compared to these other players, they were just first.
Consider also Motorola, LG, Nokia, Samsung, T-mobile, At&t, sanyo, etc.

I think Apple pioneered the PC market way back when but did not end up on top. Apple again is surging and setting benchmarks but still probably will not end up on top, unless they manage to coax everyone into their walled off fold.

For a Canadian Company Blackberry (RIM) is doing great, so I am supporting them even if they have fallen behind a bit.

I don't think anyone is shitting on Apple persay, but after a recent battle with an ipod and an itunes card I have to agree with Crag. They're trying too hard too keep everything under their hats and keep control, control, control. It may be better stuff, but if it isn't simple it'll never be the norm.
