As I understand it, Craigslist just shut it down because they were tired of dealing with the do-gooders. Maybe at some point the equivalent sites will just get driven overseas, at which point the owners really won't care about public perception. Nobody wants kids forced into prostitution, but the thought that shutting down a few advertising sources is going to stop it is just naive. If anything, having it more open gives law enforcement an easier chance to go after the underage pimps.

I like how there is John School, these guys are treated like criminals just because they paid someone for sex. The US is so screwed up, people go around shooting and killing innocent people, but they don't have Gun School.

I understand trying to stop the selling of underage kids, thats not right. But someone who is of age and choses to be an escort and has a transaction with a consenting adult who is willing to pay for sex, let it be, it's the oldest Profession
in the world.

Legal age for consent in Canada is 16 but its ILLEGAL if they recieve money for it and the only reason why there is such a law is to keep the 20, 30 and 40 something year old men away from the young teens to allow the women to get them for free as they always do including the step moms, single moms and aunts.

It is legal in Canada to pay 18 year olds and over for sex although some laws apply such as a prostitute cannot use her house as a bawdy house where 2 or 3 or more clients visit her for that purpose. But if selling sex is legal in Canada where is the prostitute's right for privacy when it comes to her private residents? A prostitute doesn;t have any rights to privacy I guess when it comes to the mighty and powerful government. If government is so concerned why dont they invent a home-testing kit to detect aids and other diseases?

So there is an instant Aids testing method. Well the government should make an instant Aids testing kit for the home if they are so concerned. And the Canadian prostitution law is HYPOCRITICAL as it clashes against itself in a hypocritical way because prostitution is legal but you can't pay someone and clients cannot visit her house? This prostitution law is like saying its legal to get drunk on beer but you can't buy it. How stupid can-ah-dah.

Danilover is right....notice you can watch people dismembered on a tv show....but you can't show a married couple having sex...god forbid even a nipple slips out. People have been beaten about the head and upper body with the Bible in North America for so long...that's why the cover is usually crimson. They've latched onto the commandments that they want to break the most....or that they feel guiltiest about breaking all the time. It's no different than getting the streetwalkers off the corner, it does nothing to address the problem and they just end up on another corner.
