I'm not as big a fan of hockey as the Canadians on this board, but when the Sabres make it into the playoffs I tend to get more interested. I heard the other day that since the new owner took over the Sabres have more points than any other team in the league.It will be interesting to see how far they can go. Go Sabres!!!

I'm a hockey fan, so will be watching the playoffs no matter which team is battling for the Holy Grail of Hockey. But I do have a team, so let me be the first to say on this forum, GO CANUCKS GO!

because as a leafs fan, i believe if the cup comes to canada, it belongs in Toronto first. If not Toronto, then no Canadian team should have it.

I don't want the Canadiens to win anything because they are our biggest rival (Ottawa who?). Especially when their fans talk too much smack.

I don't want the Canucks to win because its hilarious just looking at the big fat goose egg next to the "number of stanley cups won" category. If they get one, I'll never hear the end of it. I hope they choke just as hard as the Sens do every year.

Detroit is just plain old boring. We've seen them far too many times make the playoffs and its getting old now. Furthermore, if they win, they surpass the leafs in number of cups. Can't let that happen.

I'd personally like to see a team with a small NHL market win or a team thats never won before thats not Canadian. ie Phoenix, SJ, LA, Nashville.

Asian people didn't have much to do with the beginnings of Canada other than being cheap, overworked workers, who were asked to do all the risky stuff.

The French came here and claimed land by sticking a flag into the ground and then took advantage of the First Nations' Peoples.

Hmm, you know, maybe we should have Mandarin as a Canadian national language, after all.
