I tried this club out...I wasted a trip downtown. I did not see any tgirl lovers there. I also saw not 1 transsexual or anyone who might be close to a real one. I did however see a couple of crossdressers & some drag Queens if that is what your into.

The whole place to me felt like a gay bar. The place is owned by the same owner of Remingtons and is a gay bar 6 out of 7 days. To advertise it as "Shemale Nights" they should first have some "REAL" shemales.

I will stick to Amanda's partys or my stright bars at least there I can try to pick up a guy..gay guys are not my thing and I can tell you the guy I was with was getting hit on more then I was. Which is why I left, he did not want to get his ass grabed by gay men anymore.

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything about that in my earlier review of the place. But several gay men were eying me and making lewd comments, hitting on me and not taking no for an answer. I did not want to sound homophobic, but it was a real turn off, as I do not like men or drag queens but beautiful shemales and hot tgirls.

Review : Georges Play

Hey There,

Well I ventured down to Georges Play on a wednesday... I'll keep my review short but I have to say I really had an enjoyable night.... Chris the Promoter is really friendly and funny, the staff are friendly and chatty ... the crowd is largely single guys but thats to be expected.... The event I would say has more Tranvestites who range from passable to not passable ... There are some TS's and if you frequent any of the strip clubs you would recogniose a few of the ladies .... but the girls were totally in 'off duty' mode which was great to see .... Entertainment was great I have to say, the crowd was quiet but the girls really didnt let that get to them ....

overall a really enjoyable night ...

I'd say if your looking to hang out , have a few beers see a show , talk to a few girls head on down ...

if your looking for a meat market where the girls are throwing themselves at you stick to the clubs

And personally I cant see this party competing with Amanda's at all

This hasn't been my experience at all. The single guys there are gay men, nothing wrong with that if that is your thing. It is not mine. This guy only has two posts both about george's play. Looks to me like george has been shilling.

I don't think George Play is "shilling". I was there for two Wednesdays now and I met some of my TS friends in there and some guys who I have met at Remingtons including Marc, the gorgeous young Irish boy who posted above. (Thanks for the drinks, Marc. ) There were plenty of tv's and being once like them, it's great to be seeing them there. I did see one gay guy in the entire night I was there though I was not 100% of that 'coz I got a little tipsy later that night.

I find gay people harmless, in fact lots of them are very nice people although I, myself would prefer someone who's not as queeny as I am. And straight guys should not have a problem with that. They don't force anyone into doing hanky-panky with them. If they are there, it's bacause they enjoy stage shows, I suppose; plus they it is the gay ghetto so they are all over the entire area.

I'm glad George Play offers a different night where tg's and ts's could hang out in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Chris Edwards is a great hostess, too and so are the other girls who do the stage shows.

I go there since I live very close to the area. So, next Wednesday, if you people see me there, don't hesitate to say "Hi..."

I think this event is much needed dwntn because 80% of the girls live dwntn...

The event is like every event; it has it slow days and busy days...

Ive enjoyed must self and have met lots of transwomen and men and are out to dance and party........

Club event is what u make it .... if your going to rate the place and make critism of who goes there.. stay home.........

If your looking for shemale aquantances and fun times, come and have fun.........

After I left the Lounge, I went to check out PLAY. I got there around 12:30am and saw some Asain girls. Not sure who they were. A couple of spanish looking girls and Kim. Kim was looking hot in her tight shorts. I didn't stay long, on my way out Paris was walking in with those sexy white high boots. She is very attractive, but my experience with her wasn't the greatest. i decided to take a drive around the area. Nothing really happen due to the rain.

Uneventful night, we'll see what the weekend is like.

hey people it's Kim here let's not be so hard on diffrent club's there good and bad in all club's! I go to George's play because it's close a walk for me and I don't have to book to preform there,and there's not to much audited there either ! it's true I've been to both and there's also as many gay men or women at goodhandy's as much is the other! SO! if you like to try both place's go and check them out! you be the judge! !AND I FIND THERE"S TO MUCH PUTTING DOWN OTHER BARS!

Since the post you seem to be talking about was posted by me, I will just have to come on to explain myself....

For the record I have nothing against Georges's Play. I went there back in 2005 (that’s when my post was posted) and there were NO “real” shemales. There were maybe 20 people in the club and 12-14 were gay men. 4 were drag queens, not shemales or t-girls in my books. I made my point because they were advertising shemales, there logo was called "Shemale Nights" to use that type of advertising, there has to be shemales in attendance or it is false advertising.

For the record I am no longer working at Goodhandy’s nor anywhere else for that mater right now, so I am not promoting it for any other reason other then I like the club! Goodhandy’s do not normal have gay men on there shemale nights. They do a gay night as well they have other nights with a mixed bag of fun. But you will always find shemales there and they are 100% honest on what they offer! I can not say anything about there shows but I think that booking people is a good thing because then the guys know who will 100% be at the club & when, why play a guessing game?

So for the record I am not saying go to one over the other. I am not saying that one is better then the other. I was saying as a customer & a shemale who attends lots of events this is what I found…again that was back in 2005!

Just my thought on a topic I thought was already talked about to DEATH!

hey Tasha I do have to say when I have gone to goodhandy's there is gay guys there!and lot's of females there's nothing wrong with female's but when good handys first started I thought it was going to be a t-girl/boy club but it's turned more into a girl bar! not all t-girl's feel good about this.oh well people feel fine about going where you wish ! keep in mind there's no cover at PLAY ! and goodhandy's has a cover ! so you deside.
