Well everyone. Saw the story on CNN. US officials say hes no more. I don't know what more to say than just wow. I'm sure people have many thoughts they wish to express on the matter. All I ask is if youre going to be angry or shout or whatever try to hold some constraint. I do NOT want to see this turn into a bloody mess of a thread but rather something with hard pressed discussion.

Hopefully the news can somehow give the victims and families from 9/11 closure.

As I live just a couple of miles from ground zero and 9/11 happened during my early teen years - I never could fully appreciate just how fortunate I and my family were to not have lost our lives on that day. My mom and sister traveled nearby (actually very close) each day.

I get this gut-wrenching feeling when the families, victim, and others close to the situation (such as people I hear about who witnessed poor people helplessly jumping from the towers as a last resort) come to mind.

It's amazing to think how a small group can affect the lives of millions of people... and not in a good way!

For the lives that were lost on that day, may they RIP and never be forgotten!

-Economy in the shithouse, massive debts, millions of people lose their jobs, almost everyone who isn't part of the upper high class is now in poverty, poor, or struggling with debts/unemployment
