Well. Might as well add some fuel to the fire so to speak and see if this will rile some peoples attitudes. Way things are lately I wouldn't doubt it. Simple question to all guys and girls. Which of these words do you find the most offensive? As with past polls I'll keep the voting anonymous. This will only be up for 2 weeks but you have the option to choose one or all words provided. The hope of this poll is to perhaps get some chatting going and listen to all parties .....

I would think "chick with dick" and fag are most offensive because it's an inaccurate description and sounds offensive to me. I suppose shemale is somewhat offensive too (the male connotation). Transgender and transexual don't seem offensive. JMO

I always try to use the term Transgender and try and avoid all the others unless it absolutely unavoidable.For example I was on a forum a the thread was titled "The Hottest Shemale" and for the sake google whenever the lasses name was mentioned the term Shemale would be added.

In addition to my vote that "Fag" is the most offensive term listed in this survey, I must say that I find that the use of "Tranny" is equally as offensive.

My personal preference when addressing this situation is to use transgender(ed) or T-girl but I must also admit to using shemale at times.

The reason I added "fag' to this poll deserves an explanation and that is that there are some closed minded individuals out there who would consider a lady such as yourself as all others here as a "male" based on that if you still have the male organ you are a man no matter what you say , do or look like. . Sad i know but there are a ludicrous amount of people who don't want to hear or see the entire picture.

If you have to call I would mostly go for special girl. If not then call her girl, woman or Tgirl.

Derogatory is a personal thing, a few don't like shemale, a few don't like this and a few don't like that.
All these terms are personal things.

There is tgirls that will kill you for calling them shemale, while others try to label themselves as shemale to be some kind of premium product.

Transgender and transsexual are not edgy enough

The fact is there is nothing offensive about shemale it's two words put together. She + Male.
Same like LadyBoy is Lady + Boy.

Soooo, why not MaleShe or BoyLady?
No reason they just sound better the other way.

So this crap about labels is just that crap.

Yes Fag is a derogatory term, however it is just a term.
Those offended by it have made it offensive, and those out to harm people use the terms that hurt because they say they hurt.

Yet the same people that are hurt by terms like Fag still use it against one another, so how can they say a term is bad if they use it against others. Just because they don't like to be called fag.

How different is that from Blacks calling each other Niggers, but then getting all upset if anyone calls them that. If they don't like it, they shouldn't use it, period.

Anyway, it is all in our heads.

Some are even offended by Tgirl because it includes too many groups, transgender, transsexual, transvestite, etc.
