My New Year's Eve managed to suck and blow simultaneously. The party I wanted to go to sold out so I wandered over to Nathan Phillip's Square for City TV's event and that sucked. When I got there this wretched cover band was playing so I wandered over to Yonge-Dundas Eyesore to see if anything was happening there, surprisingly there wasn't.

So, I stopped at a bar for a beer and wandered back to NPS just as Shawn f**king Desman took the stage. Needless to day I got the hell out of there. I wandered around downtown for a bit and made my way back to NPS for midnight and caught a couple songs from Bedouin Soundclash, who weren't too bad.

That was my New Years. I had a stomach bug around New Years last year and had to stay in. You know what? I had a better time, even if I was running for the toilet every 10 minutes.

I started at a Zeldas restaurant. After dinner and a few drinks, 7 of us left at 12:10 am and headed for El Convento Rico. Great show put on by Lola , Sofonda and others. Lots of T girls there. Bar was open till 3 and we ended up leaving around 4. It was hard to get a cab at that time of night - never saw an empty cab, got a ride fron a friend. We all had a fun time.
