If you read the posts in the thread you'll see that it's not random that I mentioned the assault thing. The whole thread is about guys that give us girls a hard time..

I'm not talking about nice guys that get cold feet about a session..

I'm talking about assholes that intentionally book bullshit appointments..

and one more time for you that didn't get it the first 2 times! Any such list should be used with caution and discretion! It's idea it to help protect girls, girls use the information at their discretion..

I also mentioned that it would most likely be to hard to manage such a list. Especially since you'd have to manually verify every girl that wants to contribute to it..

Thankfully I'm not alone in thinking it's a good idea..

Alexis - the idea of a list is reasonable. If you are in the business, you need to keep track of who are your clients, who called you 16 times and never booked, who was waiting for you with his 4 buddies at his place (yes that happened to me). But this is your private list - it only applies to you.

Then you have your "policies". If you don't give clients a second chance, you are losing alot of clients. Clients call for all kinds of reasons. Eventually, they can "work up" to making a real appointment. And then there is the case of something coming up - that happens. Do they always call to cancel? No. Should they be blocked because of that? Not usually. The only time I would block someone is when I had it very clear that they were trying to harm me in some way. But that is me. You make up your own policy.

When it comes to sharing a list between girls, the only people that should be on that list are dangerous people. But invariably, you are going to run into different ideas of who should be on that list. Your own "single strike" policy and my own more liberal policy illustrate the point. Suzie gets nuisance calls from Joe and gets pissed off and puts Joe on the list. But Joe is not dangerous. He just rubbed Suzie the wrong way. So a shared list becomes a vendetta devcice.

Then there is the issue of the privacy of the list. As Rantsalot has said, you CANNOT have a public list. It must be private and secret. Now that is going to be your second problem - a single leak will put the list holder at risk of criminal charges. And there will be leaks. Other girls will be told about the list. Clients will find out about the list.

Then there is the third problem - when clients find out that you are building and maintaining such a list, YOU will be blacklisted. I'm talking about the degenerated list which contains nuisance callers and no-shows. You will scare clients off calling you.

That's why I said that you should kick yourself in the head. It is an unworkable idea.

I would suggest that you keep your own list based on your own policies and that you keep it private unless you run into a dangerous character. If you run into a dangerous guy, call the cops or work with one of the agencies that helps sex workers.

There are already such lists available in most major cities throughout Canada for sex trade workers. These contain information about dangerous people that are violent. These lists are not illegal..

I've been in and out of the sex trade since I was 14..

I don't know why people don't read what I type around here.. lol..

Every girl has a list.. and certain girls most likely already share portions of it..

My single strike policy works really good for me. I have a growing repeat client base and my business functions very well. The way I see it is that I'm not the one loosing out if they don't show up, they are. That said if someone talks to me and they have a resonable excuse I'd be inclinded to give them another chance provided they are local and seem sincere.

I don't care how you want to cut it but when someone books a time and then doesn't show and you loose another client it isn't cool. You should not book a appointment unless you intend to make it. When you book at a doctors office and you're a no show they still bill for it, same with the dentist..

My deposit policy works well for this and I also use it for pre-booking deposits for multi hour scenes and other things. The fact that I accept debit and credit cards thanks to my merchant account, helps lots in that regard as I'm 100% legitimate with my business..

I stay safe by being smart and not doing out calls except to upscale hotels or people I know well. At home and abroad I have paid security for all scenes except those with trusted regulars..

If you do stuff with out security protocols in place I feel you are at high risk to get hurt..

Ya the cops are limited as to what they can do or will do. Also not many of us have the time nor the desire to go through a court battle to put a rapist or someone that assaulted us in jail. From what I've seen the majority of guys charged with assaulting or raping a SP end up getting away with it in court or get such a tiny slap on the wrist it makes me sick. I've seen it first hand in the courtroom and all my friends pretty much are sp's..

So I've concluded that I actually don't have the time to maintain this hypothetical list. It would take a person 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week to manage it I'm thinking, especially if it were nation wide..

I understand this business. I know very well how things work. I am a member on another forum where a private blacklist is maintained. I have never contributed to it.

Lists such as this may start out being created for the girls safety. Maybe the intention was to make a note of armed felons who robbed a girl at gunpoint or of a rapist who showed up with 4 of his buddies. The problem is that it gets added to. First thing you know, the list is populated by guys who didn't show up for an appointment, who were rude on an e-mail, who hung up the phone on a girl.

This is ridiculous. I can't tell you how many times players have played on the phone with me and finally, one day, ended up booking for real. You need to understand this from the client's perspective too.

Of course if you get a call and the guy starts to insult you, give it right back to him. If he repeats, put him on your own list. But that doesn't mean he is going to insult the next girl. It shouldn't get him on a shared list.

As far as really bad guys - armed thugs, robbers, rapists and the like, call the cops and have them charged. Don't put them on a list - put them in prison.

There should be this kind of "protective" type of list against anyone who has been harmful to a woman,man,tranny,escort or prostitute including rape,abuse and other crimes OR they should be in jail but what if it doesn't end there and innocent men who never broke the law or harmed anyone are put on this list who tend to be loners, have a phobia, are innocently-mentally ill but sane and harmless or just plain weird but at the same time are very honest,decent and very good people. It seems that such innocent men may be discriminated against and this is not right. Only the bad people should be put on this list, NOT the good people.

As much as I would like to shoot anyone that means harm to me, the gun is not really an answer. Yes you will probably be safe BUT lets look at the downside. 1- The law states that you can use equal force to defend yourself. And return force in the same manner. Manslaughter is a serious charge. Also, if you do not kill the person: assault with a deadly weapon is the charge. 2- Heaven forbid your attacker gets a hold of your gun OR pulls out his own. (Sorry just watched Bowling for Columbine on Netflix)

Now the main problem with paying someone to protect you is that most of the time, he is a phone call away. This might not be the best way to protect yourself as you have to survive the attack. Unless of course the person you pay, is always with you when you do calls.

The best advice: Do your homework. Track numbers on the net. Don't answer Private/Blocked calls, Phone cards and Google talk. And keep a well trained rottweiler in case a crazy gets through.

Oh I forgot. The major problem with the list is that it violates most of our discretion rule. Any girl that assures clients of discretion cannot take part in such a list.

I agree and this is the other reason I would not be a part of the list. Anyone that you feel is dangerous should not be on some list but reported to the police.
