Between racist rants on youtube and drug benders, there was a very talented young woman. In the end, the drugs were too much, and apparently was found dead after another drug binge.
With all due respect, death is unfortunate in all circumstances. Countless people pass away daily who helped progress society in a positive way yet their story is never heard, in fact, they have to pay to have it heard.

But like you said, they are never heard.
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a noise?

I tend to agree. Here's another example. Mother Theresa passed away on the same day as Lady Diana Spencer. Who did more for humanity? .... but who gets the press? I'm not glad that Amy Winehouse is dead by any means, but those closest to her were probably too busy milking her for her talent and her money to really help her get the help she needed, or the support she needed to not feel like she had to be strung out every minute. Now the press will whitewash her life and milk THAT for all it's worth too, ensuring that young people coming don't learn anything real from this tragedy!
Ain't life grand!

"Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than
Standing in a garage makes you a car."
what a waste someone should have stepped in to help her
You cannot help someone that doesn't want help.
I heard this not long ago:
Consider how hard it is to change something within yourself. You should now understand how utterly impossible it is to change someone else.
Some people just die young. James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, River Phoenix, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Otis Redding, Heath Leger, Brandon Lee, Ritchie Valens, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison were all dead before 30. Valens was 17 at time of death.
Add in some of the great names that were dead before the age of 40 and names like Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, JFK, Marilyn Monroe, Lou Gehrig, Princess Diana, Bob Marley, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Any Kaufman, John Belushi, Jesus Christ, Chris Farley and Bruce Lee will be mentioned.

Alcoholics do not want help, they lie about everything and play the blame game, worst kind.Known 2 true alkies in my life and do not want to know anymore, there abusive, full of BS and one just 3 years ago attacked me and when your fighting for your life it seems like a eternity instead of a few minutes, they had a broken bottle in there hand(broken over my head) i was fortunate i reacted fast enough to get the upper hand. Sorry if i am sounding harsh as i am a decent kind person but the experience i have had really affected my outlook and life.It will take me awhile to trust a person with a drinking problem again. And yes i do enjoy a few drinks now and then myself .

As sad and dirty as this sounds, it's probably the closest thing to the truth.
