Staycation!!!!

AHHHHH! Finally on vacation! Got the whole week off. Just staying home and relax (staycation). I went to Woodbine beach yesterday and saw some major hotties but good luck finding a parking spot at that place. My only other plans are to go out and eat a lot at diners that I have never tried before. Later this week I'll check out Goodhandy's and the Taste of The Danforth. I wanted to book an appointment with a tgirl, but I had to spend $300 on car repairs.

So what are your exciting vacation plans?

Don't you hate that?! everytime you set some money aside and you're ready to go suddenly you have to replace your tires, and then that wedding gift, then the gym membership needs renewing, and on and on....

I'm pretty sure it pre-dates Corner Gas.

Most likely it was coined by a Marketing Firm to help a state or large city convince their population to spend money at home.

I tend to not like to take much summer vacation since that is when my bosses take vacation.
So it is much better to be at work when they are gone and go on vacation when they are there.

However I did go to Thailand for 2 weeks in May and went Mountain biking in BC in July.

Nothing wrong with time off. Any time off is good. By the way Corner Gas was a decent show. Sucks though maddplotter you had to get car maintenance done. Do you do your own oil changes and tire replacements and stuff? I learned over the years to do the basics like that myself but for the big stuff like brakes and exhaust yeah, you gotta go to a garage. Still, go to Goodhandys and have a drink or 2. Why not? You never know what may happen. The Taste of Danforth sounds cool. Always a lively and friendly crowd there and its not super crazy.

Normally when I have a few days off I either travel to TO or Montreal or just stay put and catch up on sleep and watch tv and movies. Lately I've begun to watch Star Trek - Voyager again......cus.....well...I'm a nerd.

Ya know....on a grander scale I was thinking that maybe this site should organize something for all its members to meet somewhere and party. other sites similar to this one do it all the time. Someone announces a date - people say they will go to "such and such" a place and just hang out. SO many guys and girls here always post that they are going to go here or there and at what time. I feel if something is planned a whole bunch of people could all meet at once and not miss out on some fun.

Finally dragged my sorry ass down to Goodhandy's last night and actually had a great time. Saw a few of the familiar forum members, guys and dolls, and then met Hannah Lea and Akira Lee from Calgary for the first time. Those girls are hot! Hannah actually got on the dance pole and went topless. I want to thank Angee for personally introducing me to those two Calgary babes. There were quite a few girls there that I knew, Ayla, Jellani, Tiara, Angee, Layla and Sush. But there were more girls also that I did not know. Some of them look new. Maybe I will introduce myself next week, if they are there. A group of us left GH and eventually settled on some straight dance club in the entertainment district. Those girls were dancing so sexily that guys were ogling and hitting on them. If they only knew. So, Tiara, Hannah, Akira, Angee, Sensual_lover_20 and I were dancing, drinking and laughing at the club all night. Later around 2:30 am, we went to Chinatown for some Vietnamese food and eventually called it a night. Too bad Hannah and Akira were only visiting for a few days because I wish all my nights out were like that. Hope you girls enjoy the rest of your visit in Toronto. Sigh, 3 days of staycation left.
