I do not believe it possible to ever replace Jack's dedication and drive to make things better for Canada, for you and for me, for all of us!

Layton's biggest legacy is that his used car salesman charm knocked the Liberals and Bloc-head Quebecois out of the picture for a few years.

My prediction: the NDP will now install a much less people savvy leader at their next leadership convention (Like Libby? Bring back Sven?), then the whole party will implode at the next election.

The NDP are great for keeping the government in check as official opposition ... but never let these spend happy socialists have any real power or we'll end up losing our AAA rating too!

No matter what you think of his politics, you have to admire the guy! He had the balls to stand up against the big dogs even when the fight seemed hopeless....and while he must have known he wasn't well!!!!

For everything you've given us Jack..... Hopefully your family finds peace, and the NDP gets the stones to keep up the fight you started.

Sorry to hear about your mom Lisa. I've seen three close friends lose thier mothers in the last two years and I know it's tough. Makes me appreciate my own mother, who's still here thank goodness, that much more!
