I've been wondering about this for a while. Does anyone know of any instances or examples of anyone they know, personally or not, that started going through the process to transition only to just stop with it and not bother anymore. With that I mean NOT staying as a "shemale" or "t'girl" either but literally going back as a man / woman? I would imagine it is something that isn't unheard of but is it common enough? Makes me wonder the thought processes of a person that would spend years going from a male to female or vice versa to just up and decide....ok I want to go back.

I would doubt that this is a common phenomenon. The decision, the urge to embark on this journey is a profound one, from everything I have read. And to those of us who do not experience this urge it seems like an extraordinary thing to do. But so many who are in this process, wherever they may be in this spectrum of transition describe a sense of having found their true nature, of discovering who they really are. I don't think there are many who would turn their back on this. Sure, in the earlier stages there will be feelings of guilt, trying to suppress the urge, trying to conform to the rules of society, get married etc But if these needs are part of you I don't think they can be forever denied, without at least paying a heavy price in personal happiness.Be Excellent to One Another.

Though uncommon, several people CD in an attempt to render the feeling of being a woman. I am certain in several circumstances some take it a bit further as they are openly gay or quite feminine in their daily lives and "give it a shot". Given the realization it is not as easy as they thought they decide to enter back into their original lives as a gay male. I thought Lisa Lawyer did a reversal.Be Excellent to One Another.
