What's your favourite thanksgiving treats?

I was just thinking of what is my favourite for Thanksgiving.

Turkey, of course, is up there but I don't think number one for me.


Probably Mashed potatoes with gravy is my favourite, so the turkey does come into play.


Second I would say is sweet potato with marshmallow.

lemon pie, turkey, gravy, stuffing, the vegetables, beer, the figgy pudding, salt beef, cabbage.
im going to save the trouble with the list, i could go on and on and on about it.
i love thanksgiving.

i appricate the meaning of thanksgiving, but i just love it because it brings family together, you get to feel the real true meaning of love, thanks and happiness in my eyes.

its one of my favorite holidays.
i remember every year my mom and dad would bitch and complain and make this big huge meal (as we call it a newfie scoff) and i would always eat it first finish three plates have a good nap and complain about gas cramps for the rest of the night.

i love thanksgiving.

The Thighs

I really like the thighs. The meat is tastey and tender, I like to nibble on both and finish where they meet and roll a couple of cran berrys in my mouth.

My favourites are several, but definitely,

potatoes heavily soaked with dark gravy, good pungent dressing, juicy thigh meat and particularly those two little "oysters" from the back. If I'm carving the bird those two oysters never appear on the serving plate!
