I love the word and the concept of "awe". There is not enough of it. In the 1950's John Wayne starred in a movie of the crucifixion of Christ. At some point the script called for John Wayne to speak the line "this man is surely the son of God" and he obliged. The director said very good Mr. Wayne, very good.....but could you put a little more "awe" into your lines. So Mr. Wayne collected himself and said "aw, this man must surely be the son of God". Merry Xmas everyone!
