Song of the week: Aerosmith - Dream On Some argue that this was the song that propelled them into the highlight. I disagree. Though this balladesque tune has reached "anthem" status among millions of fans I truly think that they really piqued in the 80's producing hit after hit after hit especially when they collaborated with rap stars of the era RUN DMC. After that everyone knew who these guys were. Aboutt he song though the vocals are crazy....high pitch screech and that slow percussion is good enough to tease the listener theyre going to break out and go wild ...but they dont.


Movie: Tremors "Graboids!" Hailed as the new "Jaws" of the 80's decade. Still, entertaining enough and with original ideas. Mutated worms...yes worms from space (supposedly , its never clarified) are popping up literally from the Earth grabbing all the humans in a desolate town to feed on. it's scary enough for those who like a good jump out of their seat but not graphic where you see anything grotesque like blood and the like. Kevin Bacon of all people plays the lead in saving the people of the town and even though his accent breaks every now and then its still entertaining enough to see him try and muddle through the situation of staying alive. This franchise spotted 3 sequels but honestly dont see anything after the 2nd....cus even the 2nd installment is graspong.

Food for thought: I have a recurring dream that I've been drafted to play on an NHL team. This is a very upsetting dream because I can't really play hockey. I mean, I play pretty much how you'd expect a person like myself to play. The words clumsy, hesitant, clueless, short and frightened come to mind. During the dream I'm well aware of my lack of talent. I skate up and down the ice hoping the puck doesn't come my way, all the while wondering why the coach doesn't take me out. Even me executing an uncontested shot on goal seems like an unlikely event. Assuming dreams work as metaphor and I'm not really subconsciously afraid of having to go mano a mano with Crosby or Ovechkin, the question I find myself asking is, what in my life do I feel fully engaged in and yet completely unqualified for? The answer is simple: intimate relationships. Once again, the words clumsy, hesitant, clueless, short and frightened come to mind. Well, not short... average.....actually on further analysis big.....REALLY big.

Got an idea I am going to post up soon. Its a spin off from those celebrity lookalike photos I do , cant really explain it or name it. Perhaps after I show what I am going on about someone out there could provide a name for it.....


Yes....Kitana Mai 's video is almost done, problem is my comp crashes whenever I do video editting but it will be up very soon and then I'll work on a video for Akira and then who knows.

Unnamed idea

On the left is the original piece and on the right is my alteration. These photos represent album/CD covers. This is an idea I've thought about for a while. As I look at books, greeting cards, billboards etc etc I once in a while think about the lack there of in using t girls in such things. I then think about what if t girls were more prominent in society, more widely accepted you know, it certainly is interesting to think about. I can not say if this idea will take off or if this is a one shot but what I'd want to do is tastefully take a girls photo and WITHOUT ANY ALTERATION see how their image would compare and look on such things like I mentioned above. Anyways I would love some input by members here on this as in interest, would this be able to take off, stuff like that. Would love any help you all could provide.

Song of the week: Robbie Williams - Rock DJ. An incredibly ridiculous video but I like the song nonetheless. Its a guilty pleasure nothing more

Movie: The Frighteners Peter Jackson was putting out some quality stuff before Lord of the Rings. This is a classic example. He was the first to really push the use of computer generated imagery to the limit in the 90's. In fact some ideas that were thought impossible to be done by computers were MADE possible for this film...yeahj.... a team of computer tech guys actually found ways to portray what they wanted to show on the screen. This is indeed a horror comedy film that some people say don't know how to make up its mind. Long story short a "psychic detective" who literally can see dead people takes his abilities to con people into believing they're being visited by ghosts and what not but things go awry when suddenly a rash of deaths occur by some unknown being and so the detective investigates. If anything see the film for its one of the last performances of Michael J Fox before his semi retirement as also the genius of Peter Jackson befor ehe made it "big" (big headed more like it) and like I said the technical achievements are amazing. Is there blood? Yes. Is it scary? yes. is it funny? Yes. Is it wrong to mesh them all together? you be the judge.

Spark Exposed Ep. 2 - Kitana Mai

So here it is ...another Spark Exposed. This was such a long time in the making I feel bad that it wasn't done sooner.

Again keep in mind this isn't like the quality of a major motion picture but rather as I said a public announcement using various styles to display the pictures in a short amount of time.
