I've been on estrogen for 6 days now and I've only had one side effect. Increased sex drive!

Are you on anti-androgens as well?
Just a heads up. If you don't take a blocker, your body is going to fight the estrogen by producing more testosterone. Testosterone controls sex drive.
Also, an enzyme called aromatase is produced which turns estrogen into testosterone.
yes i am on androcure as well ...and that has decreased my sex drive , and good luck to you lady .
im not positive hon,but im sure the nightmares could be,will prob decrease in time,we all have different reactions to medications and your body is taking on a whole diff chemical balance, all the best to you xoxox
Nightmares are not a usual side effect of hormones but they could be related to the upheaval you are going through by taking hormones. Are you taking progesterone as well?
Hormones have some bad side effects. Sometimes you'll have some side effects when you first start and some different ones later on. I had some bad side effects and I decided to consult a naturopath. I had read about bio-identicals and I wanted to know more about them.
She confirmed that the hormones used are derived from horse urine. Because of this, they are not identical to human hormones. They are very similar but not identical. There is a lack of scientific study to back this up but it is believed by many experts that the small differences between the hormone molecules cause side effects.
Bio-identicals are man-made molecules that are identical to the human hormones they are intended to supplement. They are made from yams.
I can only relay that in my own experience, the side effects completely stopped when I switched to Bio-identicals and my body accepted the hormones alot better.
Another thing - don't take your hormones too late in the day. Let your body have time to absorb them before you go to bed.
Hope this helps

thank you ..im going to look into bio identicals , besides that ..how are you Sunshine ?
I've been doing well. I'm in good health and good spirits.
More about hormones. When I was taking the regular hormones, I had stomach problems, vision problems, mood swings like crazy, always tired, always out of sorts. As soon as I switched to bio-identicals, all that went away. My new hormones feel great and my body is very soft. I would never go back.
Hope you get a good night's sleep and you dream of handsome young men with big throbbing erections.

Well I've been on blockers, progesterone and estrogen for almost a year and I haven't noticed any big changes in my dreams from that. In December I started taking Zyban to quit smoking and I started getting headaches and having very vivid and colourful dreams. My sex drive is off the map which is totally normal for me anyhow so no change there. I still get hard in the morning and at night while I'm sleeping (lots like normal) and there's zero performance issues. Orgasms are more intense and last longer, I've always been able to cum 3-6 times a day.
I think I'm on day 17 of no smoking and no cheating..
A couple weeks ago my endo doubled my estrogen dosage since I quit smoking. I've been very emotional lately, not in a bad way but just more emotional than normal. I really want to get fucked lots too but that's probably because I don't get fucked enough..
I think it's making my body hair finer..
But I think ripping it all out repeatedly for the last 18 months might have a lot to do with that..
One thing I'm certain of.. I got boobies from them.. lol.. but they're tiny..
i hate nightmares
i just woke up from one.
i had a nightmare that i lost all my teeth one by one.
and shyla was in my dream and i was running in crying and she was like girl it looks okay it looks good and then she looks at me and says look what cocaine did to you. you trashy bitch learn to stop ruining yourself..
