I was so diasappointed to hear about that passing of Whitney. She had a beautiful voice that needed no back up. It is like we lost her twice because I have not heard her sing for so long.
We have lost another one too soon.

My favorite singer

There has never been a doubt in my mind - Whitney was the best singer around. I have all her music and play everything often. I found it so sad that she had trouble in her life and it was painful to see how ravaged she was by drug use. Her comeback album and her Oprah interview was very positive and gave me hope that she was coming back to herself. There is no official cause of death yet but I will not be surprised if it was drug-related. It seems that it was based on what they found in the room and it was certainly my first thought when I heard about her death.

So often, the greatest talents suffer the most. I will remember her voice and her style. The rest is dust in the wind.

Cause of Death

Truly another lose to the talent in this world. A life that once was so full of promise, now is gone forever. I have always believed that once she met Bobby Brown, this downward spiral began that has ended with her death.

Now the truly sad part. The cause of death will be determined to be drowning. She passed out in the bathtub, most likely from a combination of Xanax and Alcohol. Fell asleep and drowned.

I know this will sound insensitive but really....who cares? True she was famous and had a great voice but besides that what is the difference between her and any other addict shooting up in some back alley. She is a woman who made alot of bad mistakes in her life and should be a role model on what not to do. Having it all and still throwing it away, what a waste of the special life God gave you. I just don't get this cult of personality anymore.
