That was quite a find Barbie and, in that most of us here know Lexi, it was certainly very entertaining to watch as she made her way through British Immigration!!! Unfortunately though, I was saddened to learn of the very serious medical problems she reported there. Her rather sudden departure from this forum was likely as a result of that issue and I truly feel for her as she carries on. Melanoma can be very nasty!!


It was also quite interesting to see the ease with which the English Immigration officer handled her situation. I've had more difficulty with US Immigration Officers while just crossing the bridge (with a full wallet) for the sole purpose of purchasing 60 - 70 litres of that cheap American gasoline and returning to Canada within 30 minutes.

Maybe next time.

One of the best was when I was importing Athena from New Orleans into Calgary.
The Customs lady had the most sour look on her face, but she still let her through in my custody.

That was a good video, the lady with immigration was wonderful. Too bad they aren't like that everywhere but I think Lexi helped bring out the best in her!

As a person that had a serious melanoma issue and almost died 25 years ago I too feel terrible for Lexi but am proof that horible disease can be defeated. Best wishes Lexi, I never met you, (would love to) but stand beside you in your cancer fight!

It's really interesting..

In a few weeks I'm making my first international trip..

I hope all goes well..

I'm thinking it should be fine on the Thailand end of things..

Coming back into Canada.. we'll see..

I'm sure it's all going to be pretty hassle free though..

Lexi bought me and my GF a drink last year when we met at Goodhandy's..

I'm going to have to call her now.. she was going to give me some heads up on what to expect with the surgery..

I'm nervous as hell and paranoid about surgery.. lol..

Well I think we're all glad to hear that....with maybe the exception of Hitler....it is amazing how Lexi can provoke the customs people and disarm them at the same time! A real testament to her spirit!

Lexi is in a class on all her own...I remember meeting her and was a bit taken back by her. She is so forward so much so that when she wanted to kiss me I got sucked in like everyone else... softest lips I have ever kissed!
