So I've been doing hormones for 9 months now and I'm extremely happy with the way things have been going with my breast and hips, I finally have cleavage in tank tops and certain dresses I wear.

But my question is about the ball in my breast. Sometimes I can really feel them and they are very hard and sensitive. At other times I can not really feel them at all my breast are just totally soft. Is this what normally happens when breast are still developing?

Well..

We have pre-pubescent breasts to start. The hormones make your breast develop like a young girl..

The lump is the main set of mammary glands..

When it's hard it means the tissues are likely aroused or engorged..

They have fluid in them.. you can massage them and squeeze them to get the fluid out..

Makes mine feel way better.. lol..

It's part of the boobies growing..

When they hurt.. it's a growing pain and likely the mammary glands growing and expanding..

Your body starts to go through cycles similar to genetic females as you continue hormone therapy.
Of course you don't have to deal with the red devil, but the moods and body feelings like in your breasts can be the same.
As Alexis said, they engorge and become sensitive from time to time, which is natural for a female.

Men's bodies are not really on a cycle as much but since they do run on some estrogen naturally, there will be mild cycles and feelings of comapassion from time to time. Some feel the mens cycles will come into sync with their mate over time.

Being a woman is cycle after cycle until they are barren.
Then it slows down.

Basically they work up to presenting an egg on approximately a monthly basis.
However the egg has a shelf life, if it is not fertilized during a portion of each cycle it is discarded.
The the whole reload cycle begins again.

The Breast swelling and sensitivity could be signals to males that a female is ready for it.
Some will even give milk at this time.
