No Amsterdam Hash bars for tourists?

Well I have always wanted to go to Amsterdam and smoke some chronic.
However it looks like tourists will be forbidden from partaking.

They are making all the Hash cafes member only.
Foreigners will not be able to procure week anymore.

This should hurt their tourist industry.

Awww.. I was planning on going there for my vacation! Anybody who lives in Amsterdam, or have connections there? better yet.. come with.

Don't worry so much. It only applies, for now, to the southern parts of the Netherlands. In any case, one of the nice things about Dutch society is people will only obey the law if they feel like it, and the cops are generally ok with that as long as no one gets hurt. There are laws, and then there is what people actually do.
