Just goes to show you that our modern environment, chemicals and drugs have a bearing on the increased number of Transsexuals appearing in society today.

Some of it is increased freedom and less discrimination allowing people to come out.
Some are doing it because of increased freedom of sexuality in general around society.
Some of it is increased perception of understanding of the human psyche, some wrong, some right.
Some is the concentration of man made hazards and chemicals.

Unfortunately Plastics and drugs are making most of us more feminine.
Depending where you live and what you do, the effects can be more pronounced.

Xenoestrogens of the sort mentioned in that article are suspected by a lot more sources than this one newspaper. As with William/Mandi, I don't think anything's been outright proven, but I'll be interested to see how the Merck lawsuits turn out.
