Seems like a rather popular occurrence here now. Fossilized threads coming back to life. I could've sworn I saw someone recently remark on a thread from 2007 which is funny as the topic itself was already closed.

Ok so in five years someone can bring this thread back if they want as I am always the one thinking ahead as it were. The subject we will discuss at that time will be

Hey all. Well I just came back from 2017 using my super secret time machine, guess it's not so secret anymore.

Everything is pretty much the same except for one thing. People don't eat corn on the cob anymore horizontally from left to right / right to left. Nope. Everyone now eats corn on the cob vertically holding the cob almost like an ice cream cone and eating the kernels from the top to the bottom. Like I said, other than that, there is no significant change.

Amazing the progress humanity has undergone in 5 years.
