Lots of tgirls won't do a photoshoot for any websites, or just for particular producers.

It's not unique.
However I would probably use the words turned down rather than refused.

Often you will see them in their own good time.
Sometimes never, other times they are not ready until later.

However I am sure she can arrange private shows or sessions just for u.
To me that's much better anyway.

As a producer, I can accept that excuse, but I never agree to it.

The shoot is always extra over and above other income, it in no way replaces other income.
So it is extra cash and, in fact, probably increases their demand as a "Travelling Girl".

To say one is not paid enough for the engagement based on their current popularity, is probably more accurate.
However the popular ones in porn don't necessarily get paid more per shoot, they get more work over all thus making more money.

The only other factor usually cited is not wanting your shit all over the internet.

In the case of a website or movie studio, they hold the copyright to the the pics or video.

Big difference.
It may be hard to get stuff removed from the internet even if you own copyright.
But if you don't own copyright it is nearly impossible to remove it.

The fact is, if you do porn they will not all be glamour pictures.
You have to show stuff you wouldn't show in a "fancy" studio shoot just to make it saleable.

If you do video porn you will be in all sorts of weird positions,
Not to mention making weird noise, funny facial expressions and have fluids running out of all your orifices,
(if you are good that is)

Most producers are pretty good but some will submit pictures or material that is less than savoury or flattering.
Sometimes they don't need to but in the case a girl does a real crappy job, they may need to recoup their cash.
However, who do you blame for doing such a shitty job.
Of course some shooters just suck.

When getting into the adult business and you are picky, you should look around at the different styles of producers and websites.
Then choose the producers that you feel will represent you best.

I like the fancy pics. Porn becomes pretty tired in a very short time for me, but a well shot portfolio can be a work of art.

I prefer good candid photos to tightly posed studio shots

Oooops, sorry but this has turned into a rant!

Since this thread seems to have morphed into one describing different persons preferential styles of pictures I'd like to put in a plug for well done candid photos. [this will exclude all those so common self-shot cell-phone mirror pics!]

Glamour shots or even porn where hair and makeup are meticulously arranged don't really do a good job of portraying a girl's character whereas well composed and properly exposed candids of girls in real situations will always do more to show her truely as a person. I still prefer these!

Unfortunately not many girls seem to make use of the fantastic low-priced digital cameras now so readily available to every one. Twenty years ago most professional cameras were not as good as or even as easy to use as most of todays bought anywhere cameras. Almost all such cameras sold now also contain photo-editing programs yet we see so many girls posting pictures turned sideways or at strange angles and sometimes even upside down. It's a real pain in the neck when viewing a girls ad to have to crank my head to the side or stand on my head to get a decent view of her pics. Why do they do that
