    It has little to do with looking like a whore but looking like the person you are.
    If your attire looks more like a disguise rather than an outfit you may be detained or stopped.

    As stated, intolerant and third world countries you may be taking your chances, no matter what previous experiences were.

    Recently my Thai GF was travelling in France.
    One office took her passport and passed it around the offices with everyone laughing at it.
    This is because she cannot change her sex on her Thai passport even though she is post-op.
    So she had to stand there while they all made fun of her.

    So you may be in a first world country, but don't always expect fair treatment.


    That's very unfortunate.

    I never have that experience anywhere, except in Israel. Probably because i'm Canadian, not Thai?
