Viagara only helps bring blood flow to the penis to form an erection, what about the prostate gland? As we get older, our prostates wear out and we continue loosing sexual functioning. Women without a prostate do not have this problem, thats why they keep on having their orgasms even when they hit 80 and simply put, its not fair for us men or women(trans) who have prostates. Where are the meds or treatment to improve the prostate as we age? Im 46 and push it to the limit at every 3 days and it seems im over working my prostate. How do I know? My dickus looks just a bit shrinked when not erected and thats coming from my prostate. Viagara is a multi million dollar business to bring blood flow to the cock, don't men know it also takes a prostate gland to get a hard on especially a wet one?Last edited by dom r; 11-13-2012, 11:21 PM.

I tried some kamagra gel in a slurp packet and was able to crush rocks for hours.
Probably the best stuff I have tried.

Unless the nerves that run beside it are damaged.
It's main function is not to give an erection though it helps in many ways.
The function of the prostate is to secrete a slightly acidic fluid, milky or white in appearance,[5] that usually constitutes 50–75% of the volume of the semen along with spermatozoa and seminal vesicle fluid
The prostate also contains some smooth muscles that help expel semen during ejaculation.

I have also read the prostate creates a very tiny amount of testosterone.

My new investigation is Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Contrary to what some people think, I've never done steroids but I've been hearing alot about TRT replacement. Very poplular in the USA. Problem in Canada is finding a doctor that knows what they are doing. I've had bloodwork done and of course the result is I am in the normal range for a man my age. Well the range is very large, and I want to be in the high end of that range, not the middle. Or a normal range of a man 30 years old. For some reason we just accept that as we get older, our testosterone production gets lower. There are quite a few things to learn mind you, how much to take, HCG is also required, (not HGH, LOL) as you need to balance Testosterone and Estrogen, Yes we still need estrogen. So I'll keep studying and if necessary I'll go to the black market for my needs, since our "free" healthcare has nothing to do with actual healthcare. When I brought it up with my family physician she had no idea what I was talking about. Had not idea who to refer me to.
If anyone has any experience it would be very interesting.
Oh, sorry to hijack this thread.

Waiting for "President's choice" to come out with their memories of Thailand Viagara pills. They just came out with meatball lollipops so anything is possible and obviously it's just a matter of time."Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than
Standing in a garage makes you a car."

You need to see a Urologist

You need to get your Dr. to make a referral to a Urologist for you. There are several types of replacement prescriptions, one being a pill (Androgen), a gel (Andriol), and an injectable (Testosterone Cyprionate). I have been on both injection and pill but preferred the pill. The prescription is about $30 and covered by OHIP (for seniors at least) but last for mnay injections and must be administered by the Urologist.
I was on injections for several years then switched to the pills 3x daily. While on it I felt really great, so much better in all respects both mentally and physically.
On either therapy you have to be very careful of your haemoglobin levels as they can rise to a point where the blood is so thick there is danger of heart attack or stroke. At one point after seeing my blood tests he ordered me to stop immediately because of the danger. It causes the level of erythropoeitin to rise such as is why that is used by athletes such as in the doping that was done in the bike racing scandal.
My Urologist just recently decided to start me again on the injectable type every 3 weeks and he says I won't notice a diff. for 7 weeks. Currently I really need a boost in my libido - it has dropped to "0" because of several other meds that I have to take.

I've read that injections are the best for sure, but a shot every 3 weeks would not be enough. Younwill likely spike for the week after an injection and progressively lose energy, libido over the next two weeks leading up to a shot. Low dose once a week seems to be prescribed often. These are oly forums I read this on and I believe all US patients. I have seen referral to a urologist so when I actually get an appointment in 6 months I will ask about it. the hardest part seems to be finding a competent doctor that will agree your "normal for your age" test levels are still low and that there are many benefits to increasing it. If I ever have progress on this, or go the black market route, I will let you know progress.

In Canada something like TRT is only available from a doctor and after at least a full physical.
However usually I find doctors will give you what you want if you just ask, if they have protocols to follow they do them.
I have found the worst thing you can do it is not ask your doctor first.
I was so worried about asking for viagra from my doctor the first time, and they just don't care about it unless you are very old.
It costs about $30 for 60 pills at the pharmacy which sounds about the same price as Canada.
I have found 2-3 a day is fine.
Sometimes I have taken more if I want to fire up my sex drive.
There is a very noticable jump in libido if you take 5 or more pills at once.
It doesn't seem easy to get them on the internet in Canada at all but in Thailand freely available.
Probably can get them in Mexico too, I bet.
Although I know that they are safer for the liver than other forms of TRT, Andriol still has the risks Toban described.
I probably should be getting regular blood tests.
Howevver i tend to cycle off of them since the benefits tend to diminish and sometimes become lethargic.
This may be the blood thickening Toban describes, however my body seems to warn me.
I find when I stop the benefits will still continue for a while, possibly my body trying to make up for the decrease in T.
I just bought some here in Pattaya last night.

Crag are you doing this all on your own without a doctor monitoring it? From what I've read it takes some time to get the proper balance of testosterone/estrogen. I did a quick read on Andriol and it is pretty mild on your liver apparently. I have no idea how potent Andriol is, but 3 pills a day at 40mg of testosterone each is an awful lot of testosterone in a week. Unless it really eqals much less actual Test. But if you are taking 840 mg of testosterone a week, you may as well push some weights, cause that is what they take. I'm also concerned with never going off it for a long time. Your body will definitely stop producing testosterone naturally.
So you are just taking the orals? Anything to counter any side effects? I have not read that there are many sides. Does not even enlarge the prostate, which is a problem with most testosterone. Does it make you bloat? Have your testicles shrank to raisin size? What about strength/energy? I imagine they are better?
Looking forward to hearing more.
