I have now managed to have the motorbike crash, so i just need to learn better Thai.

I googled currency exchange and used what I believe to be Thai currency. In one of the above post a cost of 1700 was used, I put that into the currency exchange calculator and it came up just over $54 Cdn...is that possible?

At that price it's not even considered an addiction...this is a trip that seriously needs to be considered if this is the case.

That is right on the price.
Bangkok will have a little higher prices, with Pattaya being so cheap for anything.
You can stay in a great $30 hotel on the beach and eat for next to nothing.
Get it while they are still struggling for democracy.

While there is alot of ladyboys in Pattaya, it is the sheer number of girls that just staggers you.
You can find girls for any price even free if you are generous and let them hang around.

The time it starts to cost is you have to buy for everyone like family or a group of friends.
Also beware of her mothers sick buffalo.

There are so many girls in Pattaya.. its like water running from your Kitchen faucet … a never ending supply… cheap and plentiful.


The only problem.. is you have to get there! It’s the other side of the world. It literally is… if it’s 8PM in Toronto it’s 8AM in Thailand. I always liked that… it's never hard to guess what time it is back home.


I always take the direct Toronto to Hong Kong flight by Cathay Pacific. It’s a 15 hour flight… I sleep for half of it. then I take a 2.5 hour flight from Hong Kong to Thailand. I've taken many other flight... went via Air France Toronto to Paris, then onto Thailand. was a 7 hour flight from TO then a 10 hour flight from paris. I much perfer the Cathay Pacific 15 hour flight since I have time to really sleep! I've also flown through LAX .. but going though US airports was always a PAIN... not only that they searched me twice just because I was in Thailand... avoid US airports at all costs!

I always fly Air Canada to Hong Kong, I also like getting the one long flight out of the way.
Almost every time I am able to upgrade to Executive suite free.
Then i buy a business class flight to Bangkok from Hong Kong.

There is a special immigration and security cue for Thai first and Business class when you are leaving Bangkok.
It is worth the extra money for Business class as there is no waiting at all.

I am, among other things, obsessive about numbers. And here are the numbers that I came up with. BTW, I am west coast.
Flight-- $1100
2 weeks of hotel-- $325. 13 nights @ $25.
Lotsa sex!!!!?$780. 13x @ $60
Food?cheaper than home!
Booze?cheaper! But no Singha! No way!!! I still have the hangover from 1998!

I think thought that just having one chick per day is a little off. I saw the threesome you had, so maybe I will blow the budget on that rather than food. I ate street food last time in BKK and my iron stomache was fine.
Diving may add to the budget, but you need a reason to go for the straight people in your life. It?s more costly than girls, ironically!!
Not subtracting the food or booze credit, this makes for a nice $169 per shot girl charge, much less than here in BC.
BTW, just in case a GG turns my fancy, do they do anal as well? I know some cultures don?t do it (Costa Rica being one ?look don?t touch? country) but I think the GG may have some competition from LB?s so will do it. Anybody have input?

Depending on the region Thais differ in size.
Natives of Bangkok and the south, they have tended to be shorter in stature.
But up north in Chiang Mai people are taller, in fact very tall.

For cheap and decent accomodations in Bangkok and Pattaya check out the Dynasty.
They have very cheap transfers from their Bangkok hotels to their hotels in Pattaya, and back.
Stayed in The Dynasty Grand in Bangkok then transferred to the Dynasty Pattaya, excellent all around for the price.

Don't eat street food dude, except maybe the fresh stuff like the BBQ skewers.
To eat the best for cheap get a girl to take you to one of the real Thai BBQ buffets that are outside the tourist areas.
For $5 you get all the fresh seafood, pork, chicken, beef, veggies, fruit, stranger stuff and all the fixings that you can cook and eat at your table.
I was threatened with an extra .75 charge if I didn't eat all I took, haha.
Usually ice cream and other weird deserts are included.
This is where Thais go out to eat.

I cant remember when the rainy season is but I start school in May, so am thinking of April. But its $2500 that I dont have so it's weighing on me. How? With school after there is no way to pay it off. What a connundrum! But to hear the coins behind the Reclining Buddha again . . . . .
